Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s release date, a bit of new information, and boxart just dropped — the game is out October 16 on Switch and Switch 2.

I'll be getting it, but I don't know when yet. Might wait a bit or buy it on release, dunno.
It seems to have a heavier focus on trainer battles and less on exploration like PLA did, which is a negative to me.

I'm probably going to wait for Day 1 impressions. Then, if the game is confirmed truly polished, it may justify a Switch 2 purchase—even better if they release a special ZA edition Switch 2.

I'm definitely going to get it, for the Nintendo Switch 2. Since it would be the first game I'd be playing on the new console, I'm likely going to wait to get the Switch 2 until closer to Z-A's release date. No reason to buy it and have it collect dust waiting for a game to play on it.

So excited that it's October instead of November. I have a friend who does NaNoWriMo (National November Writing Month) and is usually busy on November, so October means we can both play at the same time!

Interesting date, I think there was probably some delay. I was also expecting a trailer at least. Instead we kinda got a shadowdrop, but it's ok anyway lol

iirc there's supposed to be a Pokemon Presents in July, so we'll probably see some more/get a trailer then

Yes! Will be the first game I bought since BDSP! (While overhated imo, was still a disappointment). A new game in Kalos and mega evolution returning has brought me back
