Reps That Made No Sense?

Heh, the rep system is crazy. A few months ago I got a +rep and -rep on the same post, both of the comments were saying the exact opposite of each other. It wasn't even about whether they disagreed with me or not. I have got a few random ones, like one was because they liked the character in my avatar and sig XDD That was my favourite reason ~
 
I've gotten a few unnecessary rep. points in my time here. Most of the rep. I get does tend to make sense, but occasionally I'll just get a random "lol" for no reason whatsoever.

Also, I find it kind of ridiculous that I've actually received negative reputation here before just based solely on the fact that people didn't agree with my opinion. It's one thing to give people neg. rep. for saying something offensive or ignorant, but to down people just for having a difference of opinion...eh...
 
Umm, well, yeah once. I forgot what the thread was. I made it, but it got closed. Some one thought it would be funny to say "no one cares!!!!" I reported it, though. xD
 
I don't understand it when people get +reps for their birthday being that day. That's stupid. It's like, hello? Some of us don't choose when to be born. And what about people whose birthday is on a leap year? Huh? They only get one +rep every four years!

I haven't had any -reps. [Gretchen Weiners]Uhm, probably because everybody likes me.[/Gretchen Weiners] I've had like 6 +reps for things like:

  • calling out chatspeak
    contributing a long and detailed description of pairing and what it means to me (in OVP)
    and other posts that were detailed and somehow contributed to the discussion

I like the rep system. It's a bit annoying, I can imagine, when people give you -reps, but I love telling my opinion, so I often get +reps like "Wow, I agreed with that statement" or "Hey, you made some really good points."

It annoys me when people don't leave a comment, or leave a really spacious comment, with no real information >.<;;

Actually, I lied. I got a -rep a little while ago because I was asking why someone was saying something derogatory. (Just trying to figure out why, not mini-modding. It didn't have anything to do with the topic, so I was questioning.) Apparently, this post had been a running joke, and someone had -repped me because I didn't understand that. I PMed a mod and he took it off for me, saying I was right and shouldn't have gotten -repped.

So...all pos here :D
 
All -reps I get are from people with absolutely no sense of humour.
"Lame", "Loosen up a bit", "no u" were all related to posts in which the members just couldn't understand my sense of humour or sarcasm and felt offended.

Poor, pitiful members.
 
Most of my reps have no comment at all, but I never get a negative rep before. But some of my rep comment is like XD, and sometimes Yo.
 
The only reputation I received that didn't make any sense was a negative reputation regarding me liking Macs. I reported it to administration, though, and they removed it due to it being something that shouldn't have been rep'd (either for positive or negative).
 
There was one time when I posted my own opinion on a thread and somebody gave me bad reputation saying 'bad opinion/fail'. ~_~
 
Majority of my rep comments has make sense...but some of it just no comment and some are like :D, ^^ like that :\
 
Most of my neg reps come without comment. The funniest one ever was "~bonehead of the day~" which was because I said homophobic bullying over XBOX was wrong and on par with racial bullying. +5 to first person to guess who gave me that rep lol.
 
Mine seems to usually make some sort of sense, but then again, I don't seem to get much rep anyway, either positive or negative. Might have to do with the fact I don't give that much out either though. XD I'm ok with the rep system myself, as long as it doesn't get too abused and all.

In the only -rep I've gotten, the comment said "Idiot. This will never be stickied." In the post it was directed at, I had said "Dunno 'bout stickying, but..." clearly meaning I wasn't even in favor of stickying.

One +rep I've gotten had no comment, and looking at the post, I couldn't really figure out at all what I was being +rep'd for.
 
I got -reps for being an all-round bastard to people.

I got a downrep just today. Some guy told me that the world doesn't revolve around me or something, but, when I looked at the post, I was elaborating on what I said. . O.o And then two seconds later I got a plus rep on the same comment. XDD WTF?​
