Ok, another stupid ass poke that ive never used

I know, i know, its another poke that passes subs, im a fan of them ok XD

Drifblim@<insert Pinch berry Here>
248 DEF / 168 SP.DEF / 92 SPEED
Timid Nature
Trait : unburden
- Baton pass
- Substitute
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball

I figured id pump its defenses as this is gonna pass subs, so they would be harder to break and because its defenses are rather poor, with this spread, it gets 186 def and 186 sp.def, which is "ok". It doesnt need any hp evs, as its got like 999999 hp already, and therefore already passes over 101 hp subs. 240 speed is decent aswell.

Does this look ok ?

I know Unburden cannot be passed, however how much does it increase speed ?

OK, I found these two in my PC the other day, and decided to have a go at the DP Battle Tower. I just need one thing to accompany them, most likely a tank.

Garchomp@Life Orb
Hasty | 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6SAtk
~Swords Dance
~Earthquake
~Dragon Claw
~Fire Blast/Fire Fang

Notes: Don't want to be locked into Outrage. Fire fang is an option, but it was originally hasty for the ability to use Fire Blast.

Starmie@Expert Belt
Modest | 252 SAtk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Thunderbolt
~Recover/Psychic

Notes:
Modest because speed is not such an issue in the BT. With Max EVs and a decent IV (don't quite remember) it shouldn't have too much trouble. I'd be more concerned about having the power to OHKO things. Rapid Spin isn't needed in the BT, so I can't decide between Recover and Psychic.

So, I need a third pokemon, most likely a tank. Boah, perhaps?

Ive found swampy works well alongside 2 sweepers in BT. I ran StealthRock/Roar/EQ/HydroPump. I can remember the EVs but it was along the lines of a mixpert. Stealth rock and roar support are really valuable at the tower, and the other moves cn help should you come up against a wall and have lost the appropriate counter. Uxie also works well.

EDIT: Can someone please post the standard tangrowth?

252 HP / 220 DEF / 36 SP.DEF
Impish nature
- Power Whip
- Sleep Powder
- Knock Off / Stun Spore
- Leech Seed

Beastly TBH, so annoying aswell. Even a Gyarados gets Pwned by Power Whip, 3hko i believe and even if the Gyarados has max att and a DD under its belt, it still cant 3hko this with ice Fang =o, and Electivires Ice Punch with a Life Orb even gets lol'd at.

Well i understand there are Weavile in the Hax tower, so you may want a counter for that, steel type perhaps, *Looks at Metagross* =p

Why are you invisible D_A?

Forry as well, right DA? Although Metagross works too.

So i can be sneaky and watch you all whilst you cannot see me XP

Anyways, someone help me with my Drifblim up the page ^^^

Tauros@Choice band
252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
Jolly Nature
Trait : intimidate
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Double Edge
- Zen Headbutt / Pursuit / Payback

Last slot, which would be more beneficial, Zen headbutt hits Gengar, pursuit hits switching idiots and Payback doubles in power once ive been hit, but it does not go last.

i cannot decide =[

Salac. Although I'm not sure how high his speed will go up. T_T Salac's boost can be passed, though, right?

is there a Special wall Snorlax set out there, if so what does it look like.

Double from the berries, that is why Lucario salac sets run the bare minimum because they outspeed base 130's etc afterwards I believe.

~T_S

Smogon says by one stage, which is 50%, i dont know, the only berry ive ever really used is Lum berry XD

Just getting into the whole breeding/EV training thing at the mo and needing a little help

having looked through snorlax's stats I can't work out what the best moveset is for him, any helpful advice to a breeding/training newbie?

Edit: D'oh, just looked at the posts above, ignore me!

Looks pretty good, i once ran a similar set but with no item, unburden and 252SpAtt/152Spd/104HP. Its bulkier and can switch between moves without a loss of speed. I can see the benefits of aftermath, but i prefered not having to choice it and still ending up faster:
Modest/252Spd/Scarf=389
Timid/152Spd/Unburden=460
Assuming perfect IVs
It also left room for WoW

EDIT: TS its base 80. It doesnt run like Gar at all. It has base 150HP but base 90SpAtt

What is Drifblim's base speed? It just looks like a Slower and weaker Scarfgar. (In my opinion. Is this for OU?)

~T_S

Scarfgar ?

Driftblim is for passing HUGE subs. Scarf gar doesnt do that lol

Base 80 speed, which is ok, not zomg Deoxys, but its still workable.

Yes, it's a "weaker" version of ScarfGar. However, people expect it to be used for passing bulky subs, so they send out a taunter or a hazer. Then, you hit them with Hypnosis to eliminate the counter. Then you can switch it in on an Earthquake or a Fighting-type move and wreak havoc on the switch-in.
