Request an Individual Move Set Thread

Ok...I apologise for my advice on blissey so now i have got rid of her i have to reform my entire party.....Any ideas cuz I usualy play very defenceive and i have no idea what could replace blissey....I am thinking about using ninetales as a special sweeper it is unusual and could be unexpected (not to mention I have already raised it to lv100) but the prob is i have no idea what move set it should have....It is lame but its current set is.....

Relaxed nature
Item:Leftovers
Dark pulse
Will-o-wisp
Flamethrower
Confuse ray (Thinking about calm mind)

Ideas anyone?

Just to note: saying it's level 100 means absolutely nothing in the metagame with auto 100 wifi. xD Other than your going to a really hard time EV training it.

Anyway, relaxed nature is terrible on a ninetales. Pretty much need to scrap that thing entirely and iv breed for a new ninetales. You want Timid or Modest nature. :D

Slap hypnosis, energy ball, flamethrower or fire blast (accuracy/power choice) and finish off with a nice Nasty Plot w/ life orb. You could even go hidden power (ice/electric) or choice specs too. You can't really stall with a ninetales as it's HP is pathetic. If you want a special sweeper, max EVs into special attack and speed.

Also, if your looking for a nice blissey alternate, try snorlax, very good wall. ;D

Why are people using Quiet JUST to get the weather on their side. Quiet really is only good for my mix Aqua Tail/Surf/Ice beam/Thunder 216 HP / 180 ATT/ 112 SP.ATT Kyogre which should not be used as a lead. You want to Outrun leads, really.


Scarf or Specs it, with water spout.


If you going Calm mind 252 HP / 244 Special Attack / 24 Speed @Modest, lets it tank better.

Thanks beachboy for the ninetales moveset,I got a snorelax as well.I am thinking about keeping my gardevoir in the team but I am starting to doubt if it is any good....

How do you get wish? I have raised gardevior from level 1 and i have not been able to learn it?Is it a secret tm or something?

Mesprit is a better physical, as it can take hits from Chomp, Gyarados better.

Thing is avalanche is unreliable, if you dont get hit, your stuck with a base 60 power move. ice Beam is always better, being that is actually guarantees a ohko on Salamence, which avalanche fails to do. Even coming from Swamperts lower sp.att, with some sp.att evs, it will outdamage Avalance.

Less attack and more def 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6ATT

Please use Mixpert aswell, Skarmory, <insert physical wall here> just sees physical swampert as set up fodder. Even Hippowdon laughs at physical swampert =/

Ghost/Fighting has better coverage than Ghost/Psychic. Shadow Ball is for Cress & other ghost types, while Blast can also hit Heatran, as well as help beat Porygon Z.

However, Calm Mind hasn't been doing much for me. I need a way to stop Pory cold. Calm Mind seems great, but then they switch into other pokes, forcing me to switch. So, the question is, do I keep Calm Mind, or lose it to Reflect/Light Screen?

Light Screen allows me to take on Pory better, while Reflect helps with, well, Pursuiters.

You know, me thinks thunderwave would be nice in that last slot too. Light Screen or Reflect is cool, but Reflect would be better to stop said pursuit.

So yeah, its really up to you and what you fear most with that one. Only Nasty Plot P-Z causes you immense problems really, other versions can be outpredicted.

While the animation is cool,the move isn't.Ice Beam is obviously the better choice.More base power,doesn't rely on speed so much,and is a downright good Dragon type killer.
