Last thread more or less died two months ago and don't want to necro it so let's revive it here, especially since the first episode of Season 3 was streamed on Adult Swim on April 1st!

1) What were your impressions of the first S3 episode? I really liked the first episode! It have its funny moments, and many many weird moments lol.
2) What are you most excited about this season?

at the end, when Rick said this season is going to be darker.... is it true?? Time will tell.

3) Favourite character? Favorite, I don't know but not it's official I hate Rick. I men I hate his personality.
4) Your favourite moment or quote? See question 2
5) What got you into/keeps you away from Rick and Morty? There's not limits! It's Science fi at the extrême.

Glad this is setting things up for a season that isn't necessarily lore heavy, but not entirely centered around Rick and then Morty. The reset button applied to the overarching Bads of the series (this dimension's Galactic Federation, the Rick Citadel) is a relief as I was hoping Season 3 would find other avenues to explore. I'm sure they'll make an appearance again, but not to the point where they'd be the focus of the season. It seems like it's gonna be a lot more focused on the core family, and judging by the opening, a LOT less sympathetic in their portrayal of Rick, who definitely took his darkest turn yet.

2) What are you most excited about this season?

I'm hoping the removal of Jerry, however temporary, gives Beth a chance to be a character not solely defined by her crumbling marriage to Jerry and her regrets.

3) Favourite character?
I mean, Rick? He's the main draw of the show, lol. Birdperson <3

it's a more episodic/straight comedy/sciencey partner to bojack and a hell of a lot of a fun

I haven't watched this show, but it seems a lot of PCers really love it. Its not uncommon to see Rick and Morty avatars or signatures here. What is it about and where can I watch it?

Wiki does a much better job at summarising things than I ever could lol, my capability for such things is....... not good, lol.

As for where you can watch it, Netflix is probably your best bet for Seasons 1 & 2. Dunno about how Season 3 is screened since I've never exactly watched it through legal mediums, lol.

I love the parallel that Rick and Morty had that speech in episode 1 where Rick was going on about 100 years and the speech in season 3 episode was 97 years, love the fact Rick is self aware.

Do you guys think Rick will fall even further in his attempts to end his emotional turmoil?
I mean, I suppose the real question is how far he will go, as we've now seen him completely eliminate two major groups of antagonists as a B Plot to Rick's internal A Plot to get Jerry out of the picture.

I liked it, it's setting up for an interesting third season. I'm hoping we're going to get some glimpses into Rick's real past. I was kind of surprised with the way the episode ended between Beth and Jerry.

I think Jerry's character is hilarious so I'm hoping they don't actually go through with a divorce and he returns into the family dynamic.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rickality drops in less than an hour! With amazing features such as

-Handling a plumbus
-Entering real virtual portals
-Getting yelled at by Rick
-Questioning your self worth

How could you go wrong! It also supposedly won best VR game at PAX east so thats something. Don't know if it costs money or not but gonna play it either way

Anyways, Had I actually visited Entertainment sooner, I would have visited this thread sooner. Let's get to the questions

I liked it! It was a solid and violent episode. I hope everyone signed that Change.org petition to bring back szechuan sauce!

2) What are you most excited about this season?

Spoiler:

Any an all adventures! I do have to say I'm a bit anxious about it, not sure how I feel about increased focus on family. One of the great things about the show is R&M going on overly large adventures which is a bit harder when focusing on other family members. Short version: It's Rick and Morty, not Rick and Summer/Beth

3) Favorite character?

Rick. Duh. Especially when paired with Morty

4) Your favorite moment or quote?

Spoiler:

A bit at odds with my previous claims, but I think this is one of the only good scenes with Summer.

5) What got you into/keeps you away from Rick and Morty?
Crazy


P.S Someone just dropped 14.5k on eBay for some McDs Szechuan sauce someone found in an old car they just bought. And yes it was a R&M superfan.
