Rocket's Investigation [Epilogue]

I still think Ice Goddess is the most suspicious in terms of lying. We have a confirmed third party aka the lake guardians and she is still claiming to be a keckleon and third party. I don't see any reason in the pokémon-trying-to-get-to-the-Sinjoh-Ruins-story why a Keckleon should have a solitary reason to join this.

And whether or not that's how you typically play is completely irrelevant, because that means that you're basing your defense on something totally different than the accusations are being based off of, which simply does not work. People are accusing you because of the flavor text, and you saying that looking for hints in the narrative isn't how you play does absolutely nothing to counter the idea or help your case.

And the other aspects of mafia most certainly are not lost. Well, they are if you're a bad player, so yeah, I've seen a lot of people neglect certain strategies around here, but a good player should examine it from all angles, using all available resources.

I am saying that PC culture is a thing. I am not very experienced at Mafia just yet, but I've played on four sites and each has their own style of playing the game. Dailymafia does their games in real time, and have "formals" where one player is interrogated and then voted against; if there is no majority, the phase goes on until time is up or someone gets lynched. MafiaUniverse focuses on the strategic elements of mafia; ISO's, player responses, and occasionally meta. Most of Bulbagarden's games feature the outside-contact ability, which allows players to communicate outside of the thread with any other player, regardless of alignments. And here, there's really intricate game design, mechanics and flavor text. I understand that's how you play here. I've been using it throughout this game, I never said I haven't been. And that's all I'm going to say on that topic.

Regardless, considering that the flavor text referred to a Rocket considering suicide, and seeing that said Rocket is now dead, I'm confused as to why I'm still being FOS'd. I think we should turn our attention towards Ice Goddess. Unless Ice Goddess is Arceus, or Team Galactic is in this game as well for some god-forsaken reason, I don't see why there would be a fourth independent faction. And even though she's apparently confirmed town, a claim from Melody would make me personally feel a little more secure over her position.
 
Okay, just throwing this out there. On Day 4, a lot of people attacked desinishon when he claimed he was Dialga. Let's take a look at that list of people:

Wizardman11 - Rocket
Rozureido(2) - aeternum-confirmed explorer
Golgari - Magma
Juno - Claimed TOP PERCENTAGE Ratata
Rozureido - Explorer
Superjolt - Rocket
gimmepie - Syndrome-confirmed explorer
desinishon(2) - Rocket

That's already 50% Team members if we take everything at face value. Of the five people we've actually eliminated, four of them have been Team-sided. Juno is the only one on that list who isn't dead or hasn't been investigated. Can we change that tonight please? I'd almost even recommend investigating her twice since she's claimed four one-time use abilities and I wouldn't put it past Lycan to give her a disguise ability.

I don't think Lycan would put in Mesprit and Uxie without putting the last one in as well after all. I mean, if we were to believe that they're indeed third party like Syn said they were, then none of them have died yet. :T

Now why would I claim anything else but what I'm confirmed as? To be honest I'm definitely nothing of an Aqua, Magma or Rocket. Really it seems suspicious that anyone at all has to feel the need to point a finger at someone who has already been confirmed to be an explorer. So I say that you should probably justify your accusations better before making them. :3
 
Well revealing could put someone else's claim into suspicion. Depending on your species/attack.

It's certainly not pointless.

Tell us what Pokemon you are. There's absolutely no reason to hide it at this point in the game.

I also think Juno is a viable candidate for investigation. Considering she's been compiling all the lists, it throws some suspicion off of her automatically, but still.
 
Are we going to continue chasing some nonexistent Aquas and whatnot or can we just get rid of Syn, Ash and TheCapsFan.

In case you're confused about that, Caps is Azelf. Explosion, hello. I haven't even been here for a number of phases, but it's made fairly evident in some of the posts that the Lake Guardians want to prevent peeps from reaching Arceus. Meaning that they're against us.
 
Syn has said differently and people have agreed with him. But there IS an Aqua in the game as well, so neither factor should be ignored.

Why are you even assuming that all third party roles are somehow allied? I fail to see the logic in your argument. Suspect me if you want but frankly, everyone is pulling at straws to try and get me killed. Idek why a Survivor role is shocking news.
 
Exactly what confirmed there being an Aqua in the game? I'd like to know.

But if you want to continue believing all of this, then so be it. All I'm doing is sitting back with my HP stat and waiting the game out.
 
And which one would that be? I'm certainly not going to go through sixty pages of info that I missed when you apparently have an idea about it.
 
Searching the word Aqua still brings up four pages of results.

And, interesting. I don't buy it, but I see why everyone seems so adamant about it.
 
There is approximately eleven hours left in this day phase.
These people still need to attack someone: Cheshire Cat, Ash, Davepetasprite^2, Milotic, Rozureido, faer, Ice Goddess, Juno, Mana, Melody, Syndrome, TheCapsFan, Ullion.

While I agree that the lake trio are crazy suspicious, I'm not 100% sure about the Azelf thing. Today's phase post said there was one Rocket left, and we killed desinishon, who turned up Rocket. But the flavor text also stated that the last rocket was considering killing themselves, which I don't think is an ability Kricketune would have.

My hunch is that some roles have been manipulated. I still get very bad vibes from Rozureido's original character, who attacked a lot of explorers and was conveniently bonded to one when they were both taken out by the lake trio. Desinishon's role may have been altered to make everyone think all the Rockets were dead. In that sense, Azelf could be the last Rocket.

Overall, the lake trio has been acting really suspicious this entire game and have used their Arceus cannon exclusively to attack explorers (if they attacked Johnny last night like I believe).

EDIT: Also, Team Aqua was explicitly mentioned in the Day 3 flavor text:
"All other Pokémon may be happily celebrating they took down one of the Rocket Pokémon, but one Pokémon knew Ketsu's true affiliations: Team Aqua! He played well and he may be able to trick the other Pokémon, but not me!" one of the Pokémon thought out loud enough for others to hear it if they weren't busy partying.
"The other Aqua Pokémon are plotting against me, but they're going down. I won't let them take me out and let the world be flooded by..." His voice had a tone of utter loathe when pronouncing the last word. "...water."

That's what I said I didn't buy into.
