Rumormill- Snowpoint arc to be coming along with galactic action and a torkoal evo

OK, logic time.

First of all, if Ash was going to Oak anything, it would HAVE to be Chimchar. The only way this wouldn't be possible is if he temporarily took out Torkoal to evolve it, then Oak'd it again. Which contradicts the entire point of having him withdraw Torkoal to evolve it in the first place. (Just like Oaking Gliscor, but people still believe it will happen...However, I will make note of Glalie.) Why take out a Pokemon, evolve it, and immediately Oak it?

The obvious answer to that would be, "Chimchar's not coming back." As much as I hate the fact that Chimchar would remain on his team (and really, it's not even the fact that Chimchar's there; it's that everyone doesn't want it to be Chimchar anymore...Which I vehemently disagree with, if only for the fact that a fully evolved Fire starter is not only "been there, done that" material, but an obvious sign of ratings whorism. Blah blah, Chimchar doesn't need to and shouldn't evolve, blah blah.), Chimchar needs to be on Ash's team so it can show up Paul. (AS A CHIMCHAR MIND YOU, SHUT UP, N00BS.) Ash isn't about to take two Fire-types in his party, so it's one or the other, and if it has to be one, it's going to be Chimchar.

Now we can discuss the fact that it was from /a/, and that you just all lost the game.

I also ruse because I raffed. Sorry, I'm a prick when it comes to anime opinions. Sue me, Lucario's "super-sexy aura" can kiss my ass, and Infernape can fling his flaming fecal matter at someone else. >=|

Besides that, while a Torkoal evolution makes sense (because it is quite balanced), of all things, why would Ash recall Torkoal? Why not Heracross, or even Cyndaquil?

However, I will argue the logic of the silhouette. Torkoal's evolution will not look like that. That is obviously a picture of Torkoal, because the source gets info, not pictures. =\

^Thank you!
I mean really Don, you are one of the few sane people. >_> Though he could oak the otter to get Torkoal to beat can*shot*
Again, he hasn't done this ALL region, why start oaking now?

Someone earlier said that he might send Chimchar back because it might get seriously injured, so he'll take torkoal back to challenge Candice...what do u think of that?

Maybe one of his pokemon can't stand the cold? *shrug*

Has to rush one to oak until they're out of the snow?

Why not just keep them in the pokeball then?
lol

What I can't believe is that we are still discussing something that was found on 4chan...

*shrugs*
Alright on the off chance this is actually true, I question why doesn't he call Charizard or Cyndaquil. Why Torkoal?

That is a a good point why Torkoal? and is this news really true??
Maybe Prof. Oak tells Ash that torkoal misses him or something (they were kind of attatched you know?) and Ash decides on bringing him back if Chimchar is hurt or something...do u think the writers might do something like that???

No, I don't think that will happen at all.

No, I don't think that will happen at all.
LOL...yeah probably not, but it was worth a guess right?
But honestly I think we might have to wait for more info on this before really saying this is true information...wouldn't you agree?

Again, I don't. I mean it's horribly photoshopped. I mean anyone could make a fake article like that.

I say it's fake, I don't think they've ever had the legendary trio in an episode, only in movies, but then again, I could be wrong

All of them have been in an episode or two actually.

Yeah. I have a gut feeling that this may be true but dont call me a sucker. Its just too random and makes so much sense.

Didn't bother posting till I saw the number of pages in 3 days @~@'.

I've reviewed most of the thread and in my opinion, I just can't seem to trust the article until a teaser 5th Gen Pokemon is officially released by Nintendo. It's just that usually Nintendo releases info first about next gen Pokemon first. So it's just a gut feeling but I am not to trust this.

To be fair, that was during the early anime, which is about as reliable as mouldy cheese

Still, I could see something like Gliscor can't handle the snow, as it has a 4x weakness to ice, and the pokeball isn't protecting it, for some reason or another. :P

If this has not been proven fake by now then I believe this may be true.

Yeah, but conversely there is nothing proving it's true. I mean it maybe true, but I want a bit more proof. I mean until Nintendo or at least a New Type magazine reveals these titles, (or CoroCoro) I can't really believe them.
