Of course, he swapped to Zehn later, maybe in an attempt to hide the fact he had found something.

Currently thinking he found Wiz as scum, but he didn't post that much or leave a clear hint behind. Beside that semi-random thing, but that was for Johnny's inactivity. Maybe it had a double meaning and he had found Johnny as scum.

Thoughts on this?

Edit : Rereading day 5, it says that he found scum last night, so the other days are unclear. But why else would mafia target him last night? Only other explanation I can find is that Mercury Black investigated him. So, we got 3 scenarios here :

1. Mercury Black is in the game and has his aura restored. He investigated jd and found out his role, and then killed him.
2. jd voted for scum day 3 or 4, so they figured jd is qrow and killed him.
3. This is a mix of 1 and 2 and makes good sense to me. jd voted Johnny day 3, Johnny is scum and figured jd might be crow, so he had Mercury Black investigate him night 3, then killed him night 4.

On another note, he kept saying he thinks Alvey is town, so I guess that puts him in a good state.

That's possible as well. I'm only theorizing here, not jumping to conclusions.

What do you have to say about the possibility of Johnny being scum?
 
Well, defending someone doesn't guarantee your innocence. On the contrary, it might be a buddying attempt.
And Earth Traveler was nightkilled, not lynched.

And I do not see the problem with overanalyzing. Talking gets results.
I dislike being told everything by the phase posts.
 
So JD was Qrow (or a Qrow according to the phase post? ~_~ Typo?), now that makes the game a lot more interesting. As he said he trusted Alvey, I think we might be able to conclude he already got deshadowed by then. It doesn't sound very JD-like to jump on the Wiz-wagon just like that so soon if he didn't feel like people were onto something there. I think this might be a good direction to go.

Not particularly fond of him atm. He hasn't helped much, (okay, not many are helping) and his posts give me bad vibes. I have a slight scum lean on him for now. Didn't mention him because I wanna focus on Wiz and Johnny for now. And they both one shotted the grimm, so they both have their auras.
Gp on the other hand, chose the cautious way of attacking Nevermore. It feels like he feels the need to hide his damage from the others, and that's not a good sign for me. He also two shotted Nevermore with drew, who we know is Jaune, so gp has his aura as well.

It doesn't mean he was wrong either. To be honest, that argument about defending earth traveler has me thinking. It proves nothing, yet you mentioned it.

Edit : Bard, can you clarify if mafias can heal in this event?

If I counted correctly, I think everybody but two have their Auras restored by now (providing Ironwood restores two people each night). So that's basically all of us, which doesn't help us much.

I find Gunner highly highly suspicious due to the fact that regarding the bell. So far everyone has gotten silver coins. It seems strange that she should be given something different from killing a Grimm. Also, there's the activity thing Johnny pointed out so... [deadly poke] Gunner
 
Yeah, i lied about the bell. It was so i could tell you the info which is true without revealing i got my aura back. But since almost everyone got their aura back well yeah

Sorry for my honestly shit contributions to this game, but for a while I managed to lose track of things completely somehow. Yes, that's kind of unlike me but it happened in Chains too. I blame being constantly tired lately.

As for my own thoughts currently, I honestly don't have much in the way of reads but I always feel we should keep an eye on people who are trying to take the lead and steer things towards easy bandwagons. So whilst I don't have either a scum lean or a town lean towards Alex, I feel like we should be watching him.

1. Just for my own clarification here, Drewbie and Alvey are confirmed innocents.
2. Drewbie is suss of Gunner.
3. Alex is suss of Johnny, me and Wiz.

If it helps ease suspicions, my reasoning for attacking the Nevermore was indeed cautious, but not because I want to hide my attack. It was because I wasn't sure I'd be around when Grimms were close to dying and didn't want to contribute to an easy payout to the enemy.

At this point I'm feeling we should either go with Gunner and run with the confirmed Town or we should take out either Wiz or Johnny because it could provide some useful information.

Did I miss anything important?
