Square Enix is good, or Disney. Marvel I'm not so keen on, but I can join in ^-^ If Disney animation characters are a thing then I'll probably take either Bolt or Wreck it Ralph.
 
I'd like to do 3rd gen Pokemon, because my favorite Pokemon ever is in 3rd gen and I already have a bunch of themes based on it already made :3

Water/fire types sounds like it would be a fun one, with the #teamfire #teamwater thing.
 
I'd be fine with a general Disney collab. Who doesn't love a dog with super powers after all?
 
I'm about to head out for work in a little bit, but I've added more options to discuss on the OP (Square Enix, Marvel, etc).

I will make a poll when I get back! Keep discussing, guys! I really love this. ^__^

Also, if we eventually decide on a theme for the collab, I have a a question for you all: Would anyone like to be provided a signature template? or would you like to "build your own" signature? If we choose the latter, that means we gotta keep our theme intact. You can use a character within the theme we chose, but avatar & signature must stay within that theme no matter how you build that signature. An example would be my Megara theme from last year when I participated in the Staff Disney Collab. (which for some reason I did NOT have a screenie to show. :|)
 
Well, the previous collabs all had a template that others edit to their chosen characters so I guess it wouldn't hurt to do it again.
 
I feel like Disney is kinda too general.

I feel like a collab should be something more specific, since someone sporting Lion King wouldn't go well with someone rocking a Gravity Falls one or The Incredibles. They clash too much. But, hey, up to you guys.
 
I'm in the camp that prefers pokemon-related themes. Legendaries seems cool. We'd probably have to include some pseudo-legendaries to have enough options.

Square-Enix seems neat too, though.

Having a theme template has worked out really well in the past. Its nice for people like me who aren't great at CSS.
 
Disney animation/Disney pixar anyone?

Yeah, have one person design the sig, then everyone uses it. E.g. last collab for cities or the A&M collab that Candy still sports.
 
I'm just going to drop another vote for animal crossing.
And can the poll be multiple choice, I think a lot of people who want to vote aren't fully sure

I've added a few more options regarding Disney. They are separated in three choices: Heroes/Princesses, Villains, and Cartoons. Since the category is a bit too broad, we could go to any of those three choices.

Since the poll allows you to choose more than 1 (poll has 12 choices), I highly suggest you choose up to three. Don't want to end up with a 12-way tie, ya know? :P

I voted for Animal Crossing, Splatoon and Disney Villains. While I do like the Princess characters as well, I think the villains have more variety and there's quite a fair amount to pick from. The former two because I think there's some nice fanart that could be used in making my avatars.

I was almost going to vote 3rd Gen Pokemon, but we should have done that when OR/AS were still new and they have now been out for a few months so it's irrelevant, not to mention the staff did a collab relating to those games around then (it was trainers, not Pokemon though) and we need a break from Pokemon this time round.

I got a tad too lazy to change it. Maybe I'll switch to Homestuck... soon...

I've casted my vote already. If Square Enix wins then I call dibs on Riku from KH.
 
The only problem I see with the Disney villains (which is leading the votes when I posted this) is that so many of them are male... meaning some of our female members participating have to genderbend if they end up with a male character. And there's some characters who also tend to get debated if they are truly evil or not.

Animal Crossing is still my top pick of what I voted for, because I have a character or two in mind for that one, unlike the Disney villains where I am really struggling.
