Found a shiny Noibat while EV training the other day, making it my 45th found shiny in Sw/Sh. Also found out you can transfer shinies from Go! so I have about 50 that I can send to Pokemon home 😅.

I am planning a shiny hunting spree in October to celebrate my favorite month and holiday. I think I am going to hunt for 4-5 total mons. I am going to hunt for: Pumkaboo, Trevenant, Absol, and Golurk. I figured Dark and Ghost types would be a fun theme for October and since I have a shiny charm and use the Masuda Method, 4-5 is pretty doable.

I didn't count the eggs but I just got shiny Solosis in roughly 15-20 eggs! New hunt is going to be Marill in honor of my first shiny from Pokemon Sapphire!

I've continued to hunt for the daily Swarm in Pearl when it's something cool (and most days, it is - the Swarmers are awesome!!!), and on days that it's not, I go for Lotad or Shieldon! I was initially hunting Lotad with Sapphire inserted on Route 203, but I've since moved over to Route 204, since it basically swaps out Abra for Budew as an Axiom 22 possibility, and I'd much rather get a shiny Budew along the way than another shiny Abra, haha!

And I have five Shieldon fossils instead of just one, so those SRs go much, much faster than the Anorith ones did! :pink_boogie:

Good luck on your Marill hunt! Marill's one of the only shinies where it has a really different shiny scheme than its evolution, but both are amazingly cool! Like, I don't know if I'd be able to pick between having an astoundingly cool shiny Marilll, or an astoundingly cool shiny Azumarill!! :deepthink:

Woot, that sounds awesome!! Dark- and Ghost-types are the coolest, but I've never seen anyone put Absol in there for a Halloween hunt! That's a splendidly magnificent idea, haha!!! Absol's one of the coolest Pokémon of all time (and Mega Absol is probs even top 10!), but I've never thought of it as being a cool Halloween Pokémon. But you're right!! It totally should be, and it totally fits that vibe, hahaha! Best of luck on your October spree!!

Sweet, congrats on the those cool-Balled shinies!!! I'm on #TeamUmbreon myself, but Espeon is, like, the absolutely perfect Dream Ball Pokémon!! You got a sweet shiny in the rarest Ball!!! And Fast Ball fits Jolteon sooooooooo well too, haha! :laugh:

Is there something I need to do to before shinys will even spawn or am I just the unluckily player in all of sword and sheild

Nope, there's nothing you need to do to unlock the ability to find Pokemon except get past choosing your starter. Sorry that it's taken such a long time for you hope you get it soon. :)

Oof. Finally wrapped up my Spheal shiny breed. 2550 eggs for all 3 of them.
The egg count combined with a busy work schedule, made this shiny breed take roughly a month xD

Daaang I don't have the patience to complete full shiny lines. The fact that I can sit down and complete any hunt is honestly suprising for me. Congrats on all of those!

Today I booted up the game for the first time in roughly 4 months and did two dynamax adventures, both of which resulted in shinies. Normally I wouldn't count these or really care do the the significantly higher rates but given the circumstances (and the fact that Zygarde is near impossible to beat..), I think I will. :D

Dang... shiny Zygarde.... I considered hunting it, but it took me like 10-12 tries with randos to even beat it once (NPC's are useless in that fight) xD

That Zygarde is sick! I am around 100 eggs or so into my Marill hunt and nothing yet, might do some more hatching today, haven't done any in the last week or so! I did get a shiny Umbreon though :P.

Good luck on the Marill! I plan to go and hunt all the baby Pokemon through MM starting with Azurill, the most useless but also the best baby Pokemon.

This week I've found a few more shinies. I found a Shiny Galarian Slowpoke after about 38 encounters kinda - I previously hunted this when IoA came out and got one after 511. Went back a few days ago to get another for Slowking.

Also got a two shinies from one Dynamax Adventure, which I'm happy with given the options. RIP to the Nidoqueen (who I despise) to get one of my favorites - Bisharp! I also have no idea why embedding it destroyed the GIF quality..

I also was extremely bored today and made an entire google sheet to chronicle all my shiny Pokemon. Currently hunting Purrloin in Shield - at roughly 2000 encounters at the current time.

Yoo I just got a shiny today on the 231st egg :P Twinning. Good luck on those October hunts, might join for the Trevenant. Trevenant has one of the best shinies in the game.

But here's my new friend - Shiny Relicanth! It's also a perfect Pokemon too, perfect IVs in all stats except sp.attack, adamant, and Rock Head. Also in a Lure Ball because perfect color match.

Edit: Clearing out the 2 boxes I have left of eggs and I just got a second one on the 249th egg. o.o Thought I got a third for a hot minute but I was reacting to the recording video I took of the first one..that was a moment..

Awesome Relicanth! I went to hunt Golett after and I got it on the 31st egg... didn't even get an Adamant one to start passing down nature yet but oh well! Going to have to farm BP for a bit lol.
