Signature Rules & Check Thread

This ones pretty big do i need to resize the gif?
 
Really? I resized it alittle but i also tried to take away some things that add to the size and it said 1.9 but thats probably the free program im using.

How could i maybe make the size smaller? Any suggestions?

This is about as good as I can get it:

Quite a lot more quality loss, yeah, but I had to cut out almost 2mb worth of filesize. I can probably make the quality a little closer to the original by resizing it a bit. Let me know if you'd like the image any smaller!
 
I dont get why my signature is disabled over being too large when Isee tons of others using Larger Sigs in them.

Its actually really lame that My small Signature was disabled but others have BIGGER Signatures and banners in them. I have been a Member since 2007 and never had an Issue with a Banner that size until today.

Because that banner you're using is definitely way over the max width we allow for pictures...that's why it was disabled.

And in regards to others using larger sigs: if those also happen to be signatures that are breaking the limits set in place, then definitely feel free to report those so they can be taken care of as well.
 
I hate to ask it but is my signature alright? This is my favorite pokemon gif but I don't want to disturb anyone.
 
What are the rules concerning links in signatures? Can we link anywhere (provided it isn't offensive content)? For example, can we link to a blog, Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

You can link to sites in your signature so long as there's no content in those links that break rules (i.e. no porn, no linking to ROMs, etc)

The picture itself is within limits, and on my end there's no scrollbar, although I see a scrollbar when using another skin. By the numbers it's fine, although if you want to be absolutely sure of things then yeah, taking off a little bit of height should do it. Doesn't need to be much though.
