OK, random question: Does getting a critical hit bypass the enemy's defensive stat-ups?

Yeah, I was thinking that it needed more defensive power. What about SD?
Hold on...that isn't even max EVs.
Adamant is the vote I'm giving away. Seriously, even if it deosn't outspeed, it has the Defenses to survive, 110 Def and 100 SDef, anyone?
Now DDtar don't need max speed an jolly. Some variants use that, it depends on what you use. Some go for just all-out power and don't care if they are outsped really, which are the adamant ones that run similar to Gyarados...if I remember correctly. I'd have to check, as I'm not totally sure, but I could have sworn that adamant was most common on DDtar ;)
Yep. Thanks for that, Anti-Pop.
???
I wasn't taking either "side" of this argument. DA has had a very strong argument, I kind of agree with him :/ I guess I suck at wording things.
Sorry if i was slightly harsh in my last post, im in no mood today.
But my point is true, why should i have to switch out of these pokemon ? with the extra speed or Jolly they are no longer a problem.
