My Updated Diamond Team

Roserade-Level 57
Luxray-Level 57
Staraptor-Level 57
Infernape-Level 57
Floatzel-Level 57
Dialga- Level 69

May post moves later.

Did a couple of wi-fi battles with my friend, the first one she won easily, but the secpnd time round was vice versa. I'm thinking about taking Dialga and Palkia to Elite Four, just so I can scrape through a little easier, maybe.

I'm sorry to say that I haven't touched my game before today since October 29th D:

I really don't have much time to mess around, it's either Wii or DS most of the time... I'm still trying to figure out what I need to do to beat the Elite Four in Emerald, but besides that my DS has been getting less love thanks to School and my Wii. It's OK DS... I'll play you soon XD...

On another note I helped out sims796 by trading him a Calm Ditto... though I must say I was rather fed up on the 29th when I hatched 10 Piplup eggs and none came out Calm... So that's probably why I haven't touched it since then besides to trade that Ditto. (hope he had better luck with it...)

Pokemon Pearl Journal: Route 213

November 16, 2007

This time I left from Pastoria City Pokemon Center for good. Apparently there's a resort area not far along Route 213, plus I still want to see if I could catch up with Team Galactic. While traveling, I saw a bunch of Wingull flying off the coast, and decided to catch one to add to the team.

With my new pokemon in hand, I proceeded along the route and found the resort area. Lake Valor is very nearby and is apparently a huge tourist attraction. I stopped in to Hotel Grand Lake to give my pokemon a rest.

November 17, 2007

I did some exploring of the resort area early this morning. I found the Team Galactic grunt near the entrance to Lake Valor. He was annoyed by my discovering him, and sent out his Glameow to attack me. I sent out Spiritomb to defend myself. They had a lot of the same moves, like Hypnosis and Faint Attack, but Spiritomb came out on top. Then he ran off to the north. I guess I'll let him go. I also ran into Cynthia, the Pokemon League Champion. She said she came to vacation at Lake Valor, but it's closed to the public at this time. And, unfortunately, Team Galactic has something to do with it. Cynthia was asking me about my journey. I showed her my 4 badges and said I was going to head back to Hearthome City to see if Fantina would accept a challenge from me for my fifth badge. She asked if I would help her out by making a delivery along the way. Apparently, there's a group of Psyduck at the Cafe Cabin north of Solaceon town that need some medicine. Since it was on my way, I agreed to drop it off. She got the medicine from Cianwood City. Wow, that takes me back. I remember Jasmine's Ampharos was sick and I went to Cianwood to get medicine to help it before I was able to battle her gym. That was my very first encounter with a Steelix, which I hope my Onix evolves into someday.

Anyway, I digress. I said goodbye to Cynthia and continued to explore the area before heading back to the resort. I found a wild Girafarig that I battled and caught. I went back to the hotel to let my pokemon rest, and I had to go to work.

After work this evening, I got my pokemon from the hotel and found a place called The Seven Stars Restaurant. Not only can you get a good meal, they have a regulation battlefield for pokemon trainers to battle! So all 5 of my pokemon got a whole lot of experience by battling couple after couple in a series of double battles. The place isn't open 24 hours, but I'll definitely be coming back as often as possible, as this is a great training area.

I've been trying to beat the Elite Four but I can't. So I've been training my Pokemon. I've gotten my Staraptor past 60 levels already, and my Empoleon is getting stronger as well.

As I wipe the sweat off my brow, I casually throw out my last pokemon like I didn't care. After all, the Champion was sure to win anyways. Her milotic was down to half health, but all I could seem to muster was my Groudon. I was in one of the worst possible situations. After all, Milotic was steadily gaining health. I select my move. Damn! Her milotic was faster. It used surf. I watch as my last pokemon's health steadily went down. It stopped at 31 HP left. I couldn't take another blow. I was not going to backtrack. NO, I was not going to go through the E4 again. Groudon used Fissure I watch as the crack slowly mistracks from Milotic. I spit a curse, but then the crack suddenly shoots torwards Milotic. It couldn't escape and I and he CHampion watched as Milotic steadily sunk into the ground. I had finally won, and the Champion acknowledged me as the new champion....

I have no clue what I just said :D

Strangely training his new Garchomp, Chomps, Lan took a break and fought Roxas, his rival.
Roxas sent out Staraptor and Lan sent Salamence.
Salamence used Dragon Dance and apparently got faster. Starraptor used U-turn and Roxas sent out Floatzel. Salamence used Dragon Claw which appeared to make a combo with Dragon Dance and made a Critical Hit. Floatzel had fainted. Roxas sent out Heracross, but the fast Salamence used an Aerial Ace and KOed it. Roxas was getting hopeless but the battle had just begin. Roxas sent out his fearless Snorlax.
Lan, without saying a thing communicated with Salamence who made a giant earthquake... but Snorlax didn't felt a thing... apparently... Snorlax used Ice Punch(God knows how these creatures learn these moves) and Salamence felt... Lan ordered Salamence to repeat the earthquake and Snorlax fainted! Roxas then sent Roserade... Lan said "Rest time, Salamence use Dragon Dance" and Roserade used Petal Dance(wow these guys are stupid LOL). Salamence then attacked with Aerial Ace, Roserade fainted.
Roxas then sent out his masterpiece, his lvl. 74 Infernape! This could be a problem so Lan sent out Bella, the Milotic. Bella had some problems at beggining because Infernape unleashed a Thunderpunch(wasn't this Infernape caught from prof. Rowan? How has it got Egg Moves) but this Thunder Punch paralyzed Bella. Bella used Hydro Pump and the battle ended. "There is no end for pokémon, that's what I'm saying"

I beat the game
Got myself a perfect Wifi team (I haven't tried it yet to be honest)
and I got a Shiny Metagross from my friend.

I'm traveling to the city and Valor Cavern back and forth constantly.. Maybe holding on the trades would help. XD But I trained my Espeon in the restaurant a bit and she's around level 31 now. Still soft resetting for a shiny Azelf since there's nothing much else to do in Pearl..

Just obtained my 8th gym badge.
(So I suppose I should update the trainer card in my sig eventually ^_^)

Evolved my Pikachu and Onix (to Raichu and Steelix) before I took on Volkner (the leader of Sunnyshore Gym).
Am currently gonna concentrate on beefing up my team for the Pokemon League (which includes getting to know my young Riolu better and evolving him to Lucario).

Today is a gotta-catch-them-all-day for me! =D

Today I've got the following pokemon:

Togepi
Oddish
Gloom
Vileplume
Machoke
Bellsprout
Weepinbell
Victreebel
Cubone
Ditto
Mesprit
Mudkip

After I caught Ditto, I was about to leave the grass field... However I encountered a Pokemon... The music suddenly turned VERY dramatic... And I went "OMG what's that what's that!?" It turned out to be Mesprit! In fact I didn't pay attention to where it went but... Heh heh after I caught it, I had this "finally you're mine" feeling. XD

As for Mudkip, its egg finally hatched! =D

I'm finished with my game nuff said, also I have an extremely dominant team (I'm not being arrogant sorry o.O) did everything apart from contest and getting stars (can't be bothered with those -__-)

I'm EV training my new Eevee at the moment. Its nickname is Kirby and it's going to be evolved into an Espeon =D
It has a timid nature and the following IVs:

HP: 18
Attack: 13
Defense: 31
Sp. Att: 28
Sp. Def: 31
Speed: 21

Please don't laugh, I'm quite happy with those IVs considering they're the best out of 120 eggs. I wish speed was a little higher though...

So far he's on level 18 and knows Tackle, Tail Whip, Growl and Sand Attack =D

let me tell you how i beat Garchomp in the elite four.............I only have two pokemon left and i bring out snover and his ability makes hail. The Garchomp kills it in one hit so i bring out torterra...I use earthquake about 5 times and I have about 5 health left and he has like 3 so than hail strikes then he has 0 hp and i have 2.....GO ME!!!

Decided to not EV train Gengar. Took on the Pokemon League to level it up. Battled up to Cynthia and then stopped. Apparently, Gengar learns a move every 2 levels from Lv. 16 to Lv. 20 so. After beating Cynthia, I'll try making some Poffins to get it ready for contests. I may need a new one.

well

I sat around the Ice temple place in Snow Point training my Armaldo, so i teach it Rock Blast outta boredom and i don't use it until i want to know wat it looks like. So a level 57 (or so) sneasl atks me so i use rock blast. (ps i had a hard stone on him) so lets see its 25 damage per rock x1.5 for type x1.5 for hard stone x1.5 for super effective, so thats a total of x4.5 so Rock Blast has a damage of 113 damage (rounded up) (correct me if I'm wrong)
and it kills Sneasl in one hit. feeling lucky i precede to the battle tower and my Armaldo wipes the floor in like 20 minutes (yay me) Now im off to find a shiny or sleep whichever comes first. and im going to find out my Armaldos IV's (however u do that) and see wat his hidden power will do

Went on a chaining spree yesterday, chaining Geodudes and finding its shiny form after about 57. In the end I got my chain up to 84 but couldn't find another one.

My patience is growing a little thin right now as I am trying to breed a Machop with a good IV spread. I can almost always get the nature, but while it has good IVs in something I want, it then has other good IVs in something like Sp. Att which obviously on a Machop/potential Machamp is a bit pointless. Ah well, the breeding continues!

Just surpassed 100 hours of gameplay, 100 hours and 30 minutes to be precise. My Gyarados is now level 70 along with the other 3 of my team : Infernape Graveler Kedabra. That had better do me for the Elite Four or i'll be unhappy, only took 100-ish hours to do Elite Four on Ruby!

Month or two and i could be properly training some real pokemon, using EV's, natures and movestes etc.
