so what happened to me was that i needed a charmander for my diamond, so i breeded a charizard and a ditto in my firered and a cutte shiny charmander hatchet when i wasn't even looking 4 1. Lucky huh?.......o.0
P.S. SEND ME A PERSONAL MESSAGE IF U WANT 2 HEAR FUNNY NARUTO JOKES;p

Been chaining a lot this week, most of my chains break before I reach 10, even when I'm doing everything right I believe. -.- Right now I'm chaining Absol, I really want to get a shiny red Absol. >.<

New update: I managed to find myself my 3rd shiny in 2 weeks. This time a shiny Geodude (they look amazing in gold don't they?). I've been trying to find a good IV'd adamant Ditto here on PC, and was about to trade with someone and after getting them the choice band they asked for (took hours in battle tower), they backed out, so a bit sad about that. Ah well, the hunting continues!

YES! I DID IT! COME ON!!!!
*cough* ...I beat the Elite Four :). 100 hours 30 to 102 hours 04. Take away about 4 to double pokecentre my team (to be safe lol) check i have like 20+ of anything i could buy and need and then save. 2 Hours, wow lol.

Felt like jumping at the time but i was with the grandparrents watching telly lol so all i could get away with was sitting up a bit and smiling.

Gyarados helped a lot. Aaron was easy. Next was Bertha, i knew she was mainly ground but had some tricky ones. Quigsire for example was really annoying. Sent out Gyarados at the start and sent about him. I swear, Quigsire must of used protect succesfully 7 straight times, would later render my Gyarados useless because of 7 wasted PP's. In a fit of rage i sent out Alakazam, while he was coming out i remembered he had Dissable and an evil grin came over my face. All of a sudden, Quigsire is this elaborate show of all his 3 other moves. I was fuming, seen him off pretty quick though. Hippowdon the tank was even bareable after all that but was also seen to without much trouble.

Flint wasn't too much trouble, appart from his Lopunny (one of the single most worse designed pokemon ever) which decided to actually battle WELL. Lucian couldn't keep a pokemon out more than a few moves so it seemed. Cynthia though. My PP pool was more or less dry, with one Exther or something. So i really was scraping my way through her. Good thing, managed to one hit KO at least half her pokemon :D.

After that i tried the 3 lake pokemon. First the one at Twinleaf, it ran off (you all know :)) so i went after the second one, got in battle then i thought: "i was meant to be soft reseting for these!!!!!" and turned off my DS. If the one at Twinleaf is a shiny should i see it in the preview?

Pokemon Pearl Journal: Route 214

November 18 - 24, 2007

The Seven Stars Restaurant has been providing my pokemon with great experience from all the trainers that visit there. In between, I would explore more of Route 214 which leads back to Veilstone City. Along the way, though, I found a cave entrance in the mountains. It appears man-made. Inside there was a guy who said he was digging a tunnel after discovering some Unown in the area. While I was in the cave, I encountered a new pokemon, a Hippopotas! Since I happened to have a free spot in my roster, I decided to catch one.

95. Hippopotas

The next day I went back to the cave. The guy who was digging said he made a discovery! We followed the long passage that he had tunneled, and it opened up into a new part of the Solaceon Ruins! Complete with 2 new Unown subspecies. So, I caught one of each of them, and transported them to be with the other 26 Unown I caught. The ruins exited atop a high mountain overlooking Solaceon Town, but there doesn't seem to be a way down. So, I backtracked to take the scenic route via Veilstone City.

55?! Unown

After beating the E4 again to train Gengar, I fly to Hearthrome City. Entering the Smartness contest and struggling, I managed to re-earn the first two ribbons. Now at Ultra Rank, it's a struggle to get 3rd place because the dress-up round is bleh. Dancing can bring up my score, but I would need a maximum voltage on Dexter to even have a chance at winning. Which is hard to do when Midnight the Zubat and Brainy the Hoothoot are competing. Tried Beauty Master Rank with Zelda again. As expected, victory went to Jasmine and her Steelix, Rusty. Hopefully, next time I won't see her. But then I have to struggle against Fantina's Drifblim.

Battled a bit at the Lake Valor restaurant, did a few soft resets for Azelf, and then went to go chain Banette when it got dark. Got a shiny one at 37 ahh.. It goes good with my blue Nidoran twins. Blue shinies pwn. x3

Pokecray: Go to the TV Center in Jubilife and the talk to a man on the second floor. He should ask something about your opinion on TV and whatnot but answer "Everyone Happy" and then "Wi-fi Connection" to activate Mystery Gift. The only real things you can use Gift now are for PBR and events like the Manaphy download..

Edit: Got another shiny.. This is so much better than homework. 8D

Pokecrazy: Try and find the suitable forum to make your posts mate =) This is for storytelling from your game and what you have been up to the last few days, not for asking questions. =)

Most of yesterday I have been breeding Timid Gastly. A new friend from PC lent me a Timid Ditto with close to perfect IVs in Sp.Att and Speed. My very first Egg came out with perfect IVs in Sp.Att and HP, but only 21 IVs in Speed, which isn't 'bad', but I would prefer it closer to 26-27. So I have that Gastly in reserve. Other Gastlys so far have come out with 29-31 IVs in one stat or the other, so just need some more patience to find that perfect Poke!

Pokemon Pearl Journal: Crystal Colosseum

Slightly off topic, but I consider Poketopia as part of my Sinnoh journey, so I wanted to include it in my journal.

November 26, 2007

Now that I've trained a lot with a full team of 6 pokemon, I decided to take a crack at another Poketopia Colosseum challenge. I went to the registration desk to enter my updated battle pass. I'm Rank 3 in every available colosseum except the Crystal Colosseum, which I've never challenged. I was told you start out at Rank 2 upon entering.

Pokemon team: (all level 30):

Spiritomb, Murkrow, Remoraid, Wingull, Girafarig, Hippopotas

The challenge was tournament style, starting with 16 trainers in single elimination double battle competitions. The winner faces the colosseum leader in a final match for the chance to increase Rank.

I have to admit, I was worried. Murkrow, Remoraid, and Wingull all aren't very good at defense, but they all held their own nicely. Spiritomb was definitely an anchor for the team and participated in every match. I even battled some pokemon I never saw before. I defeated every trainer I came up against, even once not having any of my own pokemon knocked out, granting me a free rematch if needed. So then, it was on to the leader.

Colosseum Leader Voldon. Apparently he likes electric-type pokemon, though only has two on his team, one being Elekid and another I never saw before. His toughest pokemon, though, had to be his Metang. A psychic/steel-type, with good offensive and defensive power. I was ill-prepared for the challenge, and lost my first match. I was allowed a rematch from earlier, so I took advantage of it. Spiritomb held up nicely. Remoraid wore down a few opponents, especially Voldon's Onix. And would you believe? It was Murkrow who almost single-handedly took out Voldon's Metang with its Night Shade attack. I'll never underestimate the usefulness of that attack ever again. It doesn't do a ton of damage, but it bypasses an opponent's defense, which I needed for this one. So that win ups my Rank to 3. I got a new pass design as well, and I'm now eligible to enter a new colosseum, the Sunny Park Colosseum, where I'll begin as Rank 2.

But for now, it's time to give these pokemon a rest. I had all 6 of them stored, then looked around to see who hasn't been trained in a while. After some thought, I took Barboach, Stunky, Clefairy, Wormadam (grass), Goldeen, and Aipom with me as I left Veilstone City and headed east on Route 215 to make my medicine delivery.

If anyone wants to skim through the entire Pokemon Pearl Journal, it's in the blog section of my MySpace page. Comments on the journal are always welcome, as well as suggestions!

I trained my Blissey and Giratina. I also went into a contest but did poorly on the visual and dressing one. Lesson#1:NEVER MAKE GIRATINA LOOK CUTE!!! Thats what I mostly done.

I evolved my shiny Barboach into a shiny Whishcash, my shiny Combusken (obtained as a Torchic through cheats) into a shiny Blaziken, and my shiny Geodude into a shiny Graveler... now I just need to trade it.

Chaining as per usual and captured my third shiny, Electrike. Funny thing is, the next battle I commence after that coincidentally breaks my chain. >.<

It's annoying, as I want a Manectric but I can't say bye to Electrikés blue. Meh it's IV's are way low. I mean, its HP is 2, Sp. Atk and Spd are 6, Sp. Def is 9. But Attack is 17 and Def is 25. I'm still happy I got myself an Electrike, I've always had a thing for the blue. ^.^
