I think if we just stay active and focus on working together, even a smaller group can be efficient and effective in many ways.

What can your team do to fix this losing streak?

I thought we did very well in the last challenge as a team, most of us kept trying to improve and contribute. I think if we keep that attitude we can turn it around. If we win the next challenge we'll be right back in it.

But nah I think we actually have a really strong and cohesive team, it's just consistency that is hurting us. But we can't let this tear us apart <3

That's looking at it from the wrong perspective. We don't have a losing streak - the other team just has a winning streak. It only takes one victory to completely turn the tide back into our favour for the rest of Snailvivor tbh.

we just have to get rid of inactives. we did good as a whole in that last challenge, now we've just got to shave away the excess fat to get to our firm core and we'll be fine.

Well, now that we have "culled" the inactives on our team, we should be able to defeat Escargot since we have a stronger connection with each other than them.

The problem now would be if the next challenges would incorporate the need of more players because that is one area that we are at risk of.

What can your team do to fix this losing streak?

First off, how do you even fix a losing streak? Don't you mean breaking the streak? Why the hell would we want to lose more rounds?

Secondly, I guess we just have to work together more.

I think if the last two challenges have taught the remaining members anything, is that we have strong contenders and that we need to be attentive if we want to win.

What can your team do to fix this losing streak?

Activity is key. Like aeternum said before, we just need to spend a moment, even if it's on our phones, to check in every like six or seven hours (depending on the challenge.)

We will harvest the salt from our tears to bury the members of Escargot.​

We will harvest the salt from our tears to bury the members of Escargot.​

Of the various salts found in solution in bodily fluids, by far the commonest is table salt, or sodium chloride (NaCl). On average there is a little over 6 milligrams (mg) of NaCl dissolved in each millilitre (ml) of lacrimal fluid (tear fluid), i.e. a concentration of 6 mg/ml. One millilitre of water yields approximately 20 drops, and so there should be about 0.3 mg of salt in each teardrop. Table salt crystals are mostly cuboid in shape, with edges of about 0.3-0.5 mm. The mass of a cuboid grain of sodium chloride with edges of 0.4 mm is a little over 0.1 mg. Putting all this together, we come out at a figure of two to three grains of salt in each teardrop.

According to the Icelandic Web of Science, there are 2-3 grains of salt in one tear. The average amount of tears one cries in a lifetime is 121 liters (about 32 gallons), so therefore, you shed about 242-363 grains of salt during your lifetime. One grain of salt is approximately 0.03 millimeters (about 0.0012 inches). So in your lifetime, if you lay out all the grains of salt in a straight line, it will come out, on average, to 9.075 mm (about 0.36 inches). Assuming that everyone on Team Escargot is on average 5 feet 5 inches, even if we were sitting down, your team would need to cry at least 711200 tears! In conclusion, you cannot win my friend.

DAY 3 - CHALLENGE​

Come on in, guys!​

GreyBidoof - voted out at the last Tribal Council.

Today's challenge will be familiar for some of you. We're having a good ol' fashioned Duel Off!

This will play out like the duels in A Song of Ice and Fire - only difference being you won't know who you're dueling until it happens and it's duel-til-defeated. Players will be randomly chosen to duel and the winner of each duel moves on to battle the next person until they are defeated or they win.

Dueling will work in this way:

Each player will have FIVE total hearts. Each player will post 30 TOTAL ACTIONS consisting of Attacks, Defends, Counter-Attacks, and Rests.

You also have 10 stamina, which will refill back to 10 when you REST.

When you ATTACK your opponent, you lose 2 stamina.

When you DEFEND, you lose 1 stamina.

When you COUNTER-ATTACK, you lose 3 stamina. Counter-Attacks can ONLY follow Defends.

When you REST, your stamina refills to 10 again.

So a full set of actions would look like this:

ATTACK -2 stamina (8 left)
DEFEND -1 stamina (7 left)
COUNTER -3 stamina (4 left)
ATTACK -2 (2 left)
ATTACK -2 (0 left)
REST (+10)​

Last player standing wins it for their team and that team will be safe tonight from Tribal Council. Losers will join me and vote the third person out of the game.

ESCARGOT, you have two extra members, so you're sitting two of your teammates out tonight. Discuss among yourselves in your Mafia Group which two that will be and their actions won't count.

30 actions total. You can fill them in with anything you want: attack, defend, counter, rest. But you only have 10 stamina before you need to rest. So you need to do 30 actions total, resting whenever you run out of stamina.
