Inactivity mixed with time zone shenanigans. I went to bed while we were still in the second round, and when I woke up Saltzen had won. :/

Like Alex said, some of us are not as active as they could be.

~Inactivity hit us hard... Not even inactivity but timezones. We have a much wider spectrum than Saltzen.

There was a lack of communication revolving around Lycan's participation, as well as being trumped by timezone/inactivty issues.

We weren't fast enough. Like people mentioned, different time zones made it somewhat difficult for quick chain posting.

Activity not so much, to be quite honest. It's more the time zones, it seems.

Seeing as I personally am quite clueless how anybody has gotten one, my guess would be no. But who knows? :^)

CHALLENGE - DAY 5​

Come on in, guys!​

Welcome to your next challenge. We're playing Battleship.

In this version of Battleship, you have already prepared your six ships strategically located on a 20x20 grid and now it's time to put your strategy to the test.

We'll be setting you up in a last-man-standing style game where each round, each member of your team will submit a public post with a bomb drop location which will correspond to how many of your team remain. Those drops will correspond with a location on the grid. Your team will also have access to a limited number of special bombs. Be aware that these are of limited use, so choose where to drop them wisely.

BOMBS

Spoiler:

If you have hit a ship, a black box will appear in that grid. To sink a ship, you must hit every section of a ship. Sinking a ship will eliminate a member of the opposite team from play, meaning they will have one less bomb to drop each round.

You win the challenge by sinking all six of the enemy ships. Winners are safe from Tribal, losers will join me at it. Worth playing for?

We are beginning immediately with Round I. Once I have the bomb drop locations from both teams (sixteen drops total), I will update the maps with misses and hits. This will continue until one team has eliminated all the opposing team's ships.
