Okay, ORAS came out literally 3 days ago, I personally spent the last 12 hours trying to get some freaking poke balls from the PGL and when Gamesync wasn't busy, the entire PGL was down for maintenance, and now I FINALLY get online and the game tells me I need to download YET ANOTHER patch to go online again (didn't X and Y just require a patch last week or something??) how many more patches can they possibly come out with JUST to connect to the internet? I only got a 4gb card in my 3DS, should I shell out the buck for the 32gb SD card just so I have enough space for all these constant patches? Can't they come out with one unified patch for all the games or something? Am I the only one getting sick of having to download crap every single time I want to connect to the internet with any of my games and consoles?

Does anyone even know, specifically, what the current patch is for anyway?

Likely for a gamebreaking glitch of some sort. Or maybe to make everything shiny-locked...

Believe me, you're not alone. :P

And while I'm not completely sure -- I've heard a lot of people complaining about crashes, mostly in PokeAmie. Maybe for that?
Or perhaps for an end-game bug, something about the credits soft-locking and trapping you in the hall of fame. That sounds worth fixing.

I only tried Amie once when I got curious about my Beautifly's expressions. I got scared from its blank and expressionless eyes... o.o Never went back in there since then.
And I have yet to get the fourth badge, so them fixing the credits after defeating the Elite Four is a no-complain from me! I don't want to get stuck in the game while at home (since I don't have internet back home. that would surely suck!)

For all we know about Nintendo and patches, they like to hide what problems they actually patched. If I had to guess, I'd say there were still a couple of problems involving communication with X and Y that got fixed. It's not neccessary to lock internet access just to patch some ingame stuff.

Thinking about it, maybe they found out about homepass and this patch fixes it. You know, for the "smoother gaming experience" :P

Probably some fixes to WiFi battling that prevent pre-emptive use of Volcanion, Hoopa, and the like.

If that's true, it's possible they may be coming via an event sometime very soon. I like that. I'd love to get them legally.

    Hopefully not the Shiny-Lock! D8

I remember on FB, I saw somebody saying hwo they just get AS and then the got to the Hall Of Fame, and then everything crashed or got corrupted or otherwise broken somehow. Maybe that's common?

I think they've got a guy who just sits on Urban Dictionary all day and writes the ban list for nicknames.

I'm just happy they haven't caught all the trademarked stuff yet, that will be a sad day for T-Pain the Tyranitar.

I heard is was a fix in the language selection menu, although I'm not sure what it was exactly.

Speaking of the End-Game Freeze patch:
    Spoiler:

And apparently the patch won't come out until "early December". Which could mean December 1st or December 13th, who knows with Nintendo.

And seriously what the hell did patch 1.1 fix?

That's nice. "We now know there's a game-breaking issue when you finish the game because apparently none of our testers finished it (??) just give us a few more weeks to work on it." :P

1.1 was probably that thing someone else said and everyone proceeded to ignore. That it was just minor communication problems between X/Y players and OR/AS players.

Orrrrr.. an anti-piracy of sorts, blocking out Gateway users.

Can't really imagine much else that would require locking players out of online communication with other players until they updated. Although locking out players with an unpatched game is pretty standard these days, so that may not apply. It might actually be the thing about Knock Off affecting Mega Stones that every other forum is saying it was, lol.
