Nothing pisses me off more than when someone lies to me to get out of something, because it's like they don't trust me. If you want wanna go then just say so, don't make up some BS to get out of it.

i just straight up say why i can't go / do things. i usually make it vague though, which often leads me to say "i'm busy" :x i probably should be more descriptive next time haha

I use vague excuses like, "I'm busy" or "I'm tired" or "I need to get back and make a phone call." When I use that last one, I typically do call my parents when I get home.

Reading all of these, in a round about way I'm quite lucky, I'm disables and suffer with constant pain so if someone invites me to something I say 'I'm sorry I'm having a flare up today' mostly it's true but it's a good excuse if I don't fancy going out, it's sort of spread to my family as well, if they don't wanna do something they say ' I'm so sorry, Jaz is going through a ruff patch and I can't leave her alone (in whispered voice 'she falls down the stairs') they may be getting more out of this disability than I am :)

I wish I actually got sick though because I can never say "I'm sick" without people not believing me lol. Maybe you can say "I have pinkeye" cause I'm pretty sure you cant go do things with it right? And you can make it last for 2 days cause it could start in one eye and spread to the next. My sister just had this lol

I'm a horrible liar so if I don't want to do something, I'm pretty upfront about it.

I have the same problem but if I just don't want to go, I'm usually afraid people will try and convince me anyway if they know I'm not busy or they will think I don't wanna hang out with them

I tell people bluntly the reasons; if I don't wanna go I tell them exactly, If I'm busy I just tell them that. I don't really see the point on making excuses that isn't real.

Slightly off-topic here, my classmates and I invited an another classmate to hangout with us and she rejected us, she said she was going to Disneyland after school. Guess what? We saw her at the marketplace instead. {XD}
