I think you definitely need to work on your shading. It will really help your sprites imo.

Work on my shading? How so? in what ways is my shading inadequate.

Finished another pokemon.

Glowrm, the glow pokemon. Electric/Bug.

Also, I'd like some more advice on this guy.

Pyrock, Fire/Rock, Fire Starter, evolves from Valno(

).

I've just now finished Burnbug, the evolved form of glowrm. Electric/Bug. I'm not sure about the name though. Too Fire type-y?

I think you need to do some revamps/fusions etc before you start to scratch, your not too bad but shading and atonomy isnt your strong point yet, there for revamping should teach you how that works.
Your colour chooses seem abit to bright aswell, and your flames look to fake, try checking the cyndequil for a reference, he has some cool flames, that should teach you how to make flames!

I have done a lot of fusions, and other sprites, but not really revamps. I'll give it a go though. I know my anatomy isn't all that great, do you have any suggestions for getting around that? As for the fire, I actually DID use Cyndaquil as a reference. I know the fire isn't as high as his, but Pyrocks and Valno's fires are supposed to be really low and calm, not as spiky as Cyndaquil's.

[Note]: Thats a mask on his face not his actual face. If you think I should do away with the mask and actually make a face let me know. Im debating it myself.

@PBFHDude: I like all of them except the bug eveelution and that dracy one. The rest look pretty nice
@Crosell: Personally I think the colors work well with one another bro
@Lightning Storm: Not to bad, Keep working though. The Glowrm looks nice. Pyrock looks a bit rough but ok. Burnbug is not my favorite lol. I say just keep at it and you will find something that works. You will always keep improving.
@Viral Marketer: Looks nice but I agree with the others post elsewhere until you can post links, having to add .png is a hassle when wanting to view a lot of your work at once and not wanting to type to do so

Hey, I would like people to comment on my first ever sprites. They are Mime Jr, and are based off a drawing of my own. The only difference is the outlines.

I scanned in a picture of Mime Jr which was just outlines, without shading or colour, and did the outlines, then filled them in.
Please comment so I can improve.
