that is the benefit of callouses my friend

speaking of drugs and getting stabbed, my husband basically witnessed a robbery at the local convenience store the other day. it started with one lady coming in and spending like 20 minutes grabbing all kinds of items, but by the time she got to the counter she only had a bottle of whiskey to buy. A minute later 3 loud-and-proud thugs walk in to the store and patrol the store, and she buys her whiskey and leaves.

listening to his account made it pretty obvious what their plan was. The lady is the shoplifter, but never walks out with the things they're conspiring to steal, only making a legitimate purchase before exiting. The three guys come in, two of which are distractions for the cashier, while the third guy makes it slick and takes everything the lady dropped by the door, in front of the counter where the cashier can't easily see.

that none of them care about the fact that they're basically criminals caught on film regardless of whether they made a steal is baffling to me. Attempted robbery is a crime, and so is conspiracy to criminal activity. Even if they thought they got away with things now, they're in a police report somewhere and it's merely a matter of time.

my husband also said that they were arguing in front of the store after they cleared out and he finished his shopping, and they were so loud he could still hear them by the time he got to the house. so many shades of stupid lol
 
My heels are actually rough dead skin, but the rest of my foot is soft :c

i still get callouses sometimes, especially since i've been walking everywhere and refuse to use the bus line even though it's free.

i try to walk downtown as often as i can, even if i do virtually nothing half the time, it's interesting sometimes. and big.
 
I'm basically like a snake. I've got calluses on my feet, but they tend to rub off if I've not had my feet on rough surfaces for a while.

So yeah, I wear shoes often enough to keep the callouses controlled, but I have a heavy footfall and I don't like wearing shoes OR socks the second I step inside... and my floor is always hard.
 
My problem is because I wear shoes all day on Christmas, it does severe skin damage, and it only recovers just before the next Christmas.
 
my friend, who is 25, made whiny bitchy posts about me on twitter instead of just talking to me.

That and I don't have any friends
 
Occasionally you get some good stuff but tumblr is absolutely cursed
 
twitter is all i use, i have facebook but dont do anything with it

then again twitter starts to dry a bit out aswell, barely conversate there anymore, just spamming stuff
 
I'll use tumblr for a few days for cute pictures but then I just forget about it. It's nice to go back and look through what i've reblogged though
 
I use Facebook to speak with friends only. To spam stuff and pictures of my doggos I'll use Instagram.

No Tumblr, no Twitter.
