Synply Syntastic!

Hii Rika! :D Hahaha no worries! I should get that Gender Bender emblem hehehe xP And thank youu! You seem really nice yourself n_n

What would I consider my biggest strength? I would say that I'm a very good listener. I've had people come to me to rant out their problems or just to talk and I'm more than happy to just lend a listening ear because sometimes that's all they need.

What do I appreciate most in a friend? That would have to be loyalty. Real friends stick together to the end through thick and thin no matter what the situation and that is one of the strongest points a friend should have.

My biggest fear would be injections. A phobia, actually. I unfortunately have not gotten over it yet and it is quite tough to get over a phobia, especially a big one. If you have your own phobia, you'll get what I mean. I would very much like to get it over with as soon as possible though as every time I visit the doctor for my shots, the results are......not pleasant. :/

I like your new username, where'd you get the idea for it? :O

Thank you, LilJz! :3 I was searching up words online that both sounded nice and had nice meanings and came upon 'reverie', which is a beautiful word meaning 'daydream'. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons and I thought it went well together with 'reverie'. I then put the two words together and fell for it instantly. <3

What's your thoughts on modding The Welcome Lounge so far, and what do you love about the section?

TWL is a great place and I love it a lot. Welcoming new people and helping them out during their first few days makes me happy. I, as all others have been, once was in that same position just a little while back and I know how it feels like to get a warm welcome from a welcoming community. I'd like to pass down that feeling to our new members because everyone needs to feel that they belong.

What do you think are your biggest hurdles when you study Psychology?
Any long term goals?

I'm considering Psychology as my future university degree course.

I'm considering Psychology as my future university degree course.

In Psychology, you have to write lots and lots and lots of essays and lab reports that require extensive research. That's something that I'm not really good at doing and has given me many tough times during my two years. It's something I'm trying to improve on, though it's sure taking a lot out of me. That doesn't stop me from loving Psychology as a whole though! <3

Long term goals? To go over to Australia again for my third year, get a boyfriend, graduate, get a good career, perhaps get a PR....and that's about it for now. :P

All the best in choosing your future course! If you like people and learning about what makes them tick, Psychology is a great course for you. Just be prepared for all the writing, but if you like writing, you'll be fine.

Let's see...

I recall you said somewhere that you feel you want to learn to get better at communicating with others more effectively, and on Twitter you said (correct me if i'm wrong) something about having issues with behavior. Based on that, on a scale of 1 to 10, how easily do you tend to snap at others or get ticked off at them? (I ask as one who's very guilty of that myself.)

I've seen you discuss the Unova and Johto games fairly regularly and that they're among your favorites? What about Sinnoh? How does Platinum compare to the likes of B2W2 and HGSS for you? Because I see you in the 4th gen forum a fair bit, and i'll be honest, I thought that would be one of your favorites, but as an infamous generation it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't.

amanda!!! you are probably one of the most kindest people i have ever met online, i have bothered u with a lot at times but how is it that u tolerate everyone's problems and still be so nice? teach me ur ways senpai

on another note how is ur psychology going? what do you guys study there? like ik psycho stuff but gimme something to understand :o

Spoiler:

Yeah, learning how to better communicate with others is one of my goals. This includes include being more transparent with others, being able to clearly express my thoughts and emotions without holding back, etc. Issues with behavior? I don't really recall stating anything like that on Twitter... I generally see myself as being decently behaved most of the time? But yeah, that's something I definitely need to consider in my list of things to improve about myself. Doesn't everyone, to a certain extent? Haha.

On the scale of 1 to 10, my tendency to snap at and get ticked off by others depends on who I am addressing. For my immediate family members, it's a 6 or 7, and for friends, they get a 1 or 2. For others, I'm not so sure. People wear different masks for different people and situations. It's human nature.

Moving on! Yeah, the Unova and Johto games are easily among my favourites, considering they're the ones which I have played the most. Don't get me wrong, I love Sinnoh as well. Platinum is an excellent game. The storyline is great, and so are the Pokemon. I love how it has something not present in Diamond and Pearl: the Distortion World, and that it's connected to Giratina, one of my favourite legendaries. The puzzles and the wacky laws of gravity are definitely a thumbs up to GF.

I suppose the reason for Sinnoh not being one of my top favourites would be because I've only played DPPt twice as compared to Unova and Johto's games. Emotional bonds with a game are crucial and are developed over time. I've not spent enough time with Sinnoh to form a bond close enough.

Hi sri! Haha thank you so much. n_n Well, that's just me, I suppose! I'm quite altruistic and love helping others and seeing them happy. Nothing else gives me greater pleasure. That's about all there is to it.

Psychology's going well. I study about people and what makes them tick, essentially. Things we learn about are emotions, personality, development, language, cognition, disorders, and lots more. Don't forget quantitative and qualitative researches. Basically, quantitative research is the study of causal relationships (cause and effect), and qualitative research is the study of the lived experiences of people.

Also, contradictory to popular belief, people who study psychology cannot. read. minds. Pure myth.

Thanks for the questions! Keep them rolling, guys. :D

Do you still get ridiculed for expressing your love for Pokemon? Or would you say you are either pretty open about it and/or have found friends that express the same interests as you?

What physical trait is most attractive to you when it comes to finding a partner?

Do you have a book that you can recommend to me? I've shockingly gotten into reading lately and I'm always looking for new material.

With your Psychology degree, are you planning to become a counselor once you graduate? Or if not, what's your dream job that you're trying to obtain?

Spoiler:

I actually have some friends from various places irl that love Pokemon too! I'm not really that open about it and would prefer not to include Pokemon as one of my interests while conversing with people, but only if they do mention that they love Pokemon as well will I then open up to them about it. I mostly came across these aforesaid fans quite by chance. At least I know I'm not alone irl anymore. :D

Lots of physical traits come into play while looking for a partner, including physique, eyes, hair, lips, etc. #1 trait? Eyes. Eyes are deep and see-through and sparkle like the ocean and the sky. They are the windows to the soul and are extremely important features that determine one's attractiveness.

Yes, certainly. I strongly recommend The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. An excellent, brilliant read. If you've already read that, The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom is definitely another read you'll never regret.

Wow, you've actually hit my career choice pretty spot on! Yes, I'd love to be a counselor of sorts, but preferably more directed towards children because I love working with young people and helping them to be the best of humanity. If this happens to not be my path for some reason, I do hope another door opens up for me as I'm not entirely sure what else I'd like to do besides that.

Keep the questions coming people~

So here is your Q&A! I couldn't find it at all.

So, what's your favorite episode of JoJo so far? Favorite enemy? Favorite stand?

Thank you! Haha, it was buried deeeep down in the rubble.

I really don't know. There are too many good episodes imo! I also can't remember every single episode to pinpoint a favourite.
My favourite enemy is of course Dio, and my favourite stand is Star Platinum.

Oh, hey, cool, this thread is back up.

Are there any specific colors that tend to turn you off, like on decorations or clothing?

Since you're 21 now, have you been drinking at all? If not, why?

Yup, haha. Figured it was time.

Not anything in particular, but I don't really like clothes that have loud patterns and colour combinations. I can't describe them at the top of my head, but I'll know if I see them.

Well, the legal drinking age in my country is 18, so I've already been drinking since then lol. I only drink during occasions such as weddings and never casually, though.
