    Ah, yes, the Team Flare Arc is here. Use this thread to speculate or discuss how it all goes down. Remember to use the Spoiler tag if you're discussing spoiling content! I'm wondering if anyone wants to see a proper Ash vs Alain battle during the Flare Arc, since the bs that went down in the League. I guess we'll see.
     
    Team Flare's goal

    After watching the latest XYZ's episode, could any1 figure what is the goal of team Flare?
     
    Watched the first episode of the Team Flare Arc, making it the first time I have watched the anime in a very long time (I say one year), I say so far it's okay.

    I like how they've really developed Team Flare this season, Past teams from the anime like Magma,Aqua,Galactic had so little development and would just occasionally pop in for time to time, Team plasma being the worst developed team of all time.

    I hope they continue this for the Alola Saga, Team Skull are awesome!

    @Musique I hope that Alan doesn't switch sides that fast(It looks like he is thought)... or if he does he's still forced to battle Satoshi, He still needs to get a win on him in my opinion.

    @Burning Chrome The team flare arc is a re-thread of what they tried to do in Best wishes, Only handle so much better. So yep I agree, I hope Team Skull can just be as threatening and as Active as Team flare. I do get a 'they're just gonna be a goofy team' vibe when I see them, especially since it looks like their a call back to Team rocket, hope their not just a bunch of thieves or pirates.
     
    The whole Team Flare plot - and XY&Z as a whole really - has been a disappointment IMO. Not as bad as Episode N, but seeing Alain and Greninja being shoved down our throats practically every week for a year has gotten old. :/
