Teen Kills Mom for Taking Away His Video Game

You know, that was not worth killing. Now he's in jail getting crappy food while he would been better off taking his punishment or whatever.
I got some choice words and he's just a psycho and a lunatic.
 
This is staggering o_o ... I can't even imagine how the rest of his family is dealing with this, not to mention the reason for it.

I'm not a fan of the particular game, but I hate the fact the people will think after reading that article that videogames can drive any kid to do something like this.
 
wow, its the parents fault. she bought him the game, actually she grew him up for that to happen that way. shes dead, thinking why did i not steer him towards being a better human being.

Did you seriously just blame a woman for getting herself shot for disciplining her child? That kid is mentally ill to do something like this over a video-game, either thar or he was majorly trashed on some hardcore drugs.

I agree. The kid probably was playing on the game for who knows how long and the mom finally had enough and took the game away. Good for her. That kid must have been severly mental from playing too many games and not finding anything else in life to enjoy. I feel sorry mostly for the dead mother, but also for that poor boy and the rest of his family.
 
It's sad to see people like this kid do this. This is why there is strict ratings on games because people do not know any better. And this kid is getting what he deserves.
 
Do you HAVE to kill your parents just because they took your video game away? I guess not.
If my parents took my R4 for the DS or m Memory Stick for my PSP, all I do is lock myself in my Bedroom and grounds for a Hour.

I don't know if I wanna pimpsmack him with his game system, or give him the death penalty myself.

Well, the kid will remember this when he gets outta jail.

But I think they shoulda broke the system also as a punishment.
 
My jerk for brains teacher made fun of me because I liked Halo 3 and said I would end up like this kid, I was pretty ticked and almost failed his class :)
 
This kid gives the idea to people that kids are going mentally insane from too much video games. I play video games more than 4 hours every day and I'm not insane. I've been playing M rated games and watching R rated movies since I was 8 and I have more sympathy and a better sense of what's right and wrong than any other kid I know that doesn't play video games. Either the kid was mentally insane or maybe some people really just can't handle M rated stuff without cracking. I feel bad for his mom. Sheesh. I play Halo3 every day but if someone ever took it away from me as a punishment, I'm pretty sure I could just let it go. Game pisses me off anyway -.- I'd have more of a chance killing someone while playing the game...
 
Oh well, this is sad. But not surprising. There are a lot of psychopaths out there, this just happens to be another one who hasn't grown up yet.

Even someone who isn't grown up should kill their mom over a stupid video game. It is plain stupid.

His mom probably bought him the game in the first place...
 
Owch, I would hate to be that kid right now. I bet he acted on impulse...

Yeah, with all the **** I've been thorugh these past two years, I can't say I've never wanted to fight back against my mother before, but I held it in.. I'm also not that stupid or impulsive. I mean, don't get me wrong I love my mom, but I'm not the only one whose felt that way before, right? I'm sure as soon as he shot her he regretted it. That's the thing I utterly despise about guns; nobody ever thinks about the consequences before they shoot them, and it all happens so fast...

Now, as to why he had a gun in the first place; that's a whole other story. o.O;
 
The Kid believed the death wasn't real?
It sounds like the kid should be put in a funny farm (Insane Asylum)
And only 23 years in prison the guy killed his mom it should be he gets sentenced to life in prison.
Maybe not the death penalty that's a bit too harsh, Ive only heard people getting that if they are a serial killer.

But thats just my opinion.
