Well, regarding a topic we were talking about a couple of weeks ago. Fellow Aussies, it is my sad duty to inform you that Cheez TV, a strong part in my childhood, has been finally cancelled. After over 10 years of morning fun, the program has been taken off the air, and replaced with someone else. The new show is called , something to do with Toast, I don't really care. I have been wounded deep inside. CHEEZ FOREVER!!!
Well, we did get a mention in SUperman 2, Gene Hackman's character Lex Luther wanted to have Australia when the evil aliens came to take over the world, I guess thats something

Just dropping by to join in mourning the loss of Cheez TV. It was bad enough when they dropped Jade and Ryan from the show, but now they've taken away the anime as well! Where am I going to get my daily dose of Pokemon and Yugioh from? Well, I have a lot more free time now, I know that....
I remember Blinky Bill; can still remember the theme song - "I'm Blinky Bill, my whole life's a thrill, I do exactly what I want, I'm Blinky Bill!" And then there was some magpie teacher and Nutsy and the platypus. Don't think I watched much of Skippy though... There were other shows like Ocean Girl and Thunderstone, I vaguely remember... I'm sure I'll be able to recall some others after a while.
On a different topic, but does anyone go to the anime conventions in Australia? Next one is Manifest in Melbourne, coming up on the weekend after next, I think.
I could have gome to SuperNova in Brisbane, back in May while I was on holidays, but I was slack and didnt go. I was considering going back down to Brisbane for a Stargate convention, but that doesnt look like its going to happen either.
