I mean sure but it isn't just like, hey you're totally healthy and then BAM suddenly you drop dead. People don't understand how important the things they put into their body are.

When I was a teenager and in my early 20s I ate like crap. It's only in the last few years that I've really made a change to concentrating on eating healthy foods, and the benefits in my life have been all over the place. I'm happier on average, more motivated to do things, more optimistic, I feel like I have energy, I can concentrate better... it's so worth it. It's just hard to break the habit and addiction to junk food, but once you do, you look at that crap like it's poison.

That isn't to say I never eat things like cookies or cake or whatever. It's just a special occasion now.

Hence the term poison. Junk food corrodes the body slowly but surely. Admittedly my teen years were not the healthiest either but I wasn't all that bad. Things changed rather rapidly once I started competing in karate as you need to be in near peak condition all year round. I like to treat myself at least once a week with some biscuits. It's my one weak spot when it comes to less healthier stuff but I make sure to at least buy biscuits on the healthier end of the scale. Water, Tea and fruit juice are my only beverages and while fruit juices do typically have a lot of natural occurring sugars, this is circumvented with all the exercise I do.

Back in university, a few times a week I would resort to oven meals, like pizza or fish and chips.
I cook all of my dinners now and I even prepare my own lunches at home. I have porridge for breakfast. I could seriously write a whole article on nutrition like I did for fitness.

And yeah I totally understand what you mean about having energy to do stuff more often with a healthy diet. It's a bit of a shame actually - under different circumstances we could have become friends.

Lack of energy is never a problem for me because of my ADHD.

ugh fuck going to the dentist man

i know i have to make an appointment at some point this year but holy crap

Fuuuuck, I'm making me an appointment Monday. I've always been insanely lucky with my teeth but it's still stressful. I need to get my last 2 wisdom teeth pulled but I don't feel like eating soup and being horrible for 48 hr ;(

I know I need to eat more healthy foods, but I guess things like microwave dinners are more accessible and I have no energy ever.

I'm not much for bacon burgers, but throw me a bigmac and I'll down that lol

Not sure! I'm sure there's others, I personally love it but everyone's got different tastes :)
