Eh it's like some of the previous ones, I like Pidgeotto well enough but given we've barely discarded anything I figure I should add some competition for the less interesting Pokémon haha.

On the note of Pokémon leaving in sad ways, does anyone remember Ash's Gliscor? That's the first time I've ever cried at a Pokémon episode. XD

I really loved Gliscor, haha! I still need to rewatch DP, but unfortunately I'm too lazy. xD

(I miss Ash's Aipom/Dawn's Ambipom, though...)

Mmm, DPPt was definitely my favourite anime series. The plots were a lot more interesting than in other seasons and I found Dawn to be such a likable character compared to most of the other companions - it was nice having Brock around too and having him finally realise his ambitions haha.

As I've said in a certain PokéAni post, DP's strongest point was by far its character development, as well as Paul. Paul is, by definition, the perfect rival for Ash, and their rivalry concluded beautifully.

I haven't seen DP, but I have heard about how well it handled the characters. Infernape had some pretty good development, and its story helped to develop both Ash and Paul into better characters.

The splash is adorable, and not just because I love Puzzle Challenge.
