The Count To Infinity - v12

I generally buy like 5 clothes, not much more because I don't like to spend a lot of money at once XD
I definitely need new shoes by the way.

"It's expensive to be poor" comes to mind. Most of the cheap clothing just isn't well made and falls apart quickly. But even some of the expensive brands create their clothes very cheaply. The entire clothing industry is just severely messed up. Like, most of the people who make those clothes aren't even being paid minimum wage, either. :(

I think it can be worthwhile to spend some time looking up some trustworthy brands. They may be more expensive. But at least you get some better control on the clothes you actually buy.

I also occasionally try to sew old broken stuff back together. With what little sewing skills I have. xD

The store I buy from is big on bio-cotton, which is supposedly better for the environment but it's not like I can actually go and check that xD
The difference between normal and bio-cotton is supposedly just that they don't use pesticides, but natural insect repellents.

I wonder what's a natural insect repellent ^^"
Except, say, ladybugs, which hunt insects iirc.

I just know most products get more expensive the moment they slap 'bio' onto it.

As for the bio-cotton clothes they seem to wear down faster. Emphasis on seem as I also started making more hours when those started being introduced to that store... then again I also started keeping more pants at the same time in my wardrobe...

organic cotton seems much better than "normal" cotton from environmental and healrh standpoints.

There are way too many different marks for various things related to either bio food, or more animal friendly food here.
Spoiler:

Not saying it's a bad thing, but I've literally seen too many of them to even remember what all of them mean xD

organic (or "ecological" as it's called here) is a speficic term i believe, but then there's a lot of individual markings that denote adjecent things.

i'll be straight up honest it's hard for me to differentiate between organic and non organic on a lot of foods
Same.
I'd say the fruits / vegetables seem smaller and rot faster?

Afaik, there are only a couple few of those that actually mean it. More often than not large corporations just try to mislead their customers into thinking their products are bio stuff. The most glaring example is when the package of a product has the color green on it. It doesn't have to be bio, but because it's green some people think it is.

And drowning people with different symbols conveniently adds to the decision fatigue which means they are more likely to give up and just pick whatever. But that's just a bonus. <_<

It probably depends on the country but I'd say, in Europe, there are regulations ^^"

There are yeah. Actually proving that a product wrongly has a label can take years though.
There's pretty hefty fines if it does actually get proven, but all the manufacturer has to do is actually comply to the label in the mean time and it will often be dropped.

in this economy i admit i have started to buy cheaper things more often than "good" things..

The country I live in still hasn't figured out how the internet works. ^^"
Show them the light and teach them!
