The Count To Infinity - v12

What types of seasons does Canada have? Like, I know the four seasons we use is more of a Europe centric thing that only stuck due to colonialization. And in fact different places don't actually adhere to the four season cycle. So, some places only have like rain seasons and dry seasons and stuff like that.
The four seasons are valid when you are somewhat far from the equator. So we have the same four seasons as in Europe, except winter lasts 6 months with renewable snow 🙃

My house stays hot for a while too. Like once the hot temperatures are over it'll still be hot inside for another 5 days or so.... assuming the hot temperatures don't return in the meantime because better reset that timer then xD
I can get it down to 3 days if I actively air it out by keeping the windows open for as long as possible each day, but I'm not doing that when I'm not at home so... 🙄

Megan is taking pictures of other forum members doing things so she can blackmail them =O
Apparently my bribing is not enough, she needs more money :(

So you turn the pictures into voodoo dolls somehow and direct them to come to your place and give you money? =O 😇 😙

On a different subject:
I'm currently trying to connect a new controller for my Switch Lite as the left stick at times becomes unresponsive till you let go of it and move it in the same direction again. Which gets very annoying in longer play sessions.
I think I haven't charged it enough yet though so I'm plugging it back in first.

Edit: Got it connected. Had a guide pulled up for if I need help connecting it. All I did was unplug the controller after charging, boot up my Switch Lite and it instantly connected without me ever even going to the controller menu xD

Have you tried putting your controller in rice? 🙃

Has your problem to do with Joycon drift? I'm not sure if the Switch Lite suffers from it, as well. But I wouldn't be surprised.

afaik Joycon drift is when the stick moves your character whether you're touching it or not.
That's not quite what I have. In my case the stick will just not register input at times. Kinda sounds like the opposite to me. 🤔
The direction that does it the worst is the down direction. I literally had to zigzag left and right on a diagonal to move down with a character as putting the stick straight down would just make my character stop and idle lol If I let go of the stick and move it down again it would go down for like a second and idle again.

The stick was deteriorating for a while now, with it not registering inputs very well at times. But I'm pretty sure the culprit for it getting this bad is my own dumb self as I had my Switch Lite in my hand one day, with it plugged from charging, but having forgotten it was still plugged in. I got up, didn't have a good enough grip on it and tried to walk away. The cable yoinked the Switch Lite straight out of my hands xD It landed on the front side with the screen and the sticks and buttons...
I had literally never dropped it prior to that point =\
As stated it did have some input registering issues already, but they were minor until that happened. 🙄

Though perhaps the term 'joycon drift' contains more than just the 'character moving when you don't want it' problem, idk.

I considered having it repaired, but I'd either need to go to a store that does that myself, and potentially still end up without it for days, or have to ship it to one and have it be out of my reach even longer. Too much valuable save data on it, so I ended up buying a controller compatible with the Switch Lite instead.

You can buy the joycon sticks separately so you can replace it yourself.
I saw a video of someone opening their Switch Lite to do that though... you basically have to disassemble the entire handheld just to get to where the joycons are.
I don't trust myself with that kind of disassembling and having to put it back together afterward =P
