The Count To Infinity - v12

I am quite uncertain and doubtful over it.

The idea do seems viable, but according to some studies it lies in area of uncertainty because Universe is constantly expanding, despite creation and destruction of stars, galaxies, etc. Even in that linked page, you can see that Max Planck was condemning the idea of Entropy of Universe. The possibility of happening of it should mostly depend on behavior of Dark Energy with passing time.

Though, even if it happens, then that will happen in very, very distant future for sure. And before that our solar system will get collapsed, at least.

The recent book which I had read was Universe in a Nutshell. And after that I am mostly reading the books related to my course!
:tongue::tongue:

Though the book whose story I enjoyed in recent times was named "Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway.

I don't read books, except reference books on mathematics when I am at work.
I can read math symbols, not words.

Replace Mathematics with Physics in my case.

But I also need to read the words, along with symbols 😅

I also have a large list of books I'm planning to read: God Emperor Of Dune, the next Star Wars: The New Jedi Order novel in the series that I'm on, the rest of the stories by H.P. Lovecraft in the complete fiction collection of his works, a number of other Star Wars books, some more Discworld books, and etc. This might take awhile...

Good thing this topic will be here.

I also agree with what @Zeostar said. If the book is interesting, then it feels very easy to read pages after pages with utmost attention. But if I am reading boring books of history, then going past few pages makes me lazy.

I guess this even applies to Physics/Mathematics books as well. Although it mostly depends on chapters and topics, rather than book as a whole.

I remember taking this Chinese History class my final semester of university, which I ended up dropping right before the first exam because I really was just taking it to get a History minor and the class work was completely stupid. The lectures were very interesting, but the books we had to read... There was this one that went into infinitesimal detail regarding this market: who went there, what was being sold, how much each item cost, what they looked like, what they smelled like, what the weather was like, and so forth and etc. Then, after surviving this long and extremely dull book, using only information from the lecture notes (and nothing from the book) you had to write an 8-page essay.

Suffice to say, after I dropped the class I just had my Sherlock Holmes Fan-Fiction class and Aikido, and very much enjoyed the rest of the semester.

I also think the same. It purely depends upon the interest, and the information which we want to seek from the books. Although, I do like to collect books here and there, even if I don't read most of them extensively. But the scent coming from book's pages makes me feel nice!
