We just had ours yesterday. About 14 inches total which isn't tooooo bad all things considering.

Oooof. Worst snow storm I saw was... 4 years ago? I think we got 3 feet in one day, but before that was a sheer layer of ice from the freezing rain.

We don't get crazy amounts in single storms usually, what we usually do get is enough wind alongside the snow to make for whiteout conditions. 6 to 8 inches is what my area is forecast to get, and that's a decently high total for here, so far away from any ocean and out of the sphere of weather influence of the Great Lakes.

This system is bringing 8 to 12 inches just south of me, though.
