In the quiet of night, Coiny tiptoed from room to room. She found the person she was looking for sleeping soundly, with nothing to do that night. Creeping up to their target, the crossdressing pirate did the most peculiar thing - she switched their hats and wandered back off in to the night. How odd.
Ooo, it looks like we have a role switcher! I figure that makes sense with the Crossdressing gimmick; though it seems like the role they swapped for doesn't have an active NA. The "room to room" line makes it sound like Coiny visited multiple people as well. Hopefully all this means that Coiny knows someone inno or scum.
Gingerbeard and Limey Loud Shakes slept peacefully through the night, not leaving their quarters or being disturbed. Unfortunately, this wasn't all to the crew's advantage.
Sounds like
some people didn't submit their NAs.
But ... The "crew's advantage" thing makes me feel like this is lowkey incriminating either Limey or Gingerbeard. Else, why would it be considered an advantage for them to be idle? I suppose "advantage" refers to them being undisturbed, but this wording is odd.
A shadowy figure appeared before Lady Arvine. She knew it was only a matter of time, she was hoping to go down shouting during the day just to fire off her own killing shot. Unfortunately, the shadow cut her life short.
SHE WAS A HUNTER TRYING TO ACT SUSPECT TO SHOOT SOMEONE
AGAIN
As for the lynch on Caps ... I was gone for the rest of the day phase, so I didn't see any of his claims after that ... But for what it's worth, the rest of the players who voted for Caps also agreed with Kiyo, and I didn't see any of them change their votes after Caps "revealed" ... tbh I would say that Kiyo was the leader on the Caps lynch not me, but I'm leaning town on Kiyo, so I dunno what to think now.
This part is worded a little too defensively, don't you think? You haven't even given people a chance to go down your throat this phase yet; this kind of backtracking feels preemptive.
Though I can understand why, considering you must feel like Caps' inno flip incriminates the hell out of you. But just because this reaction is logical, does not free it from having a scummy texture. If you're keen on people believing you're innocent, just
be an innocent player and scumhunt.
But I
do feel like a scum player would try to throw all the guilt onto me; which you contemplated here but didn't go through with because you townread me. I'm not sold on reading you as town (since this play does make sense from a clever scum perspective), but I'm keen to give you a neutral reading for the time being.
I have a feeling he was a Bomb or something, which really sucks if that's the case.
His theme is seducing your subconscious, I think. I'm not getting the same notion, since he said he "found out" stuff when we nl.
If I had to vote for someone on the Caps wagon (me, Kiyo, Klippy, drewbie, and Wiz) I think it would be better to focus on those who joined the wagon later. Scum usually doesn't start a wagon, and before everyone joined in, it was still a no lynch.
Here, let's take a peek at the responses:
ngl, we should try to go for Caps. :| It's not really sus to act lost, but get real dawg. I was gone too and managed to read a few pages.
"don't know what's going on" there is about a page of stuff... Also we NL'd yesterday so we might need to start making some moves here.
"I'm town" 20/10 best defense
I'm r
eeeeeally not all that confident in Klippy, since he sounds similar to how he spoke in BttB. But all in all, the worst of the responses is drewbie's. Though all of these are flavorless, don't provide anything reflective, and don't add further logic behind the decision to lynch Caps, drewbie's feels the most parrot-y and bland; drewbie's and Klippy's also feel like they have an element of theatricality, which I never trust in a mafia game.
Though, not as theatrical as this mess:
I'm with Kiyo. Time to make shit happen.
[Kill] Caps
Plus, Mana won't allow us to no-lynch again. Bad things will probably happen if we try that.
...of course, Caps could be softing a cop role... I think that's what he means by weeding out scum. If that's the case, then I am in favor of letting Caps have time to do some digging. So... I changed my mind.
[Kill] jdthebud under similar logic of going after Caps.
And we'll see if my theory holds true by the end of tonight, if Caps gets killed or not. If he survives the night without being targeted, then he should spill investigation results or more info.
The fuck is this? I can get behind having ideas and second thoughts when you set all your ideas down, but this is messy and a pure abuse of ellipses. This reads like a scum player trying to appear innocent and seeding a lynch for the next day.
