Themes are changeable, they have themes named after every type. Like "Dark theme" which basicly is a black theme. I haven't tried the other ones though, but they seem lame.

I agree the themes here are more pleasant for the eyes.
 
I don't like anything about Serebii. I think it is badly run. With boring thems. The rank system is pointless aswell.
 
I can't say anything about how it's run since I have no idea what their staff system is like. I've just never really liked the forums. :\ They just feel really cluttered to me, even if that's probably just because I'm not used to their order or... something.

Their themes are just that though--basic colour alterations, iirc. Most of our themes are pretty unique. D:

Agreed completely. But then again, I've never been able to stick to any forum other than PC. I guess because PC was my first one, and I'm just used to it. D:
 
I can stick to some smaller forums, but for the most part I completely jumped ship when I joined PC. 8( Lol, I got fired from a mod position at another Pokémon forum when I got modded here.

Anyway I've joined many forums and only managed to stay on a few.
And I think SPPf is ok^^;

I have only posted lots on this forum. My first forum got shut down after a few years and that is when I search for a Pokemon forum and found this one. I am going to be here for a few years yet.
 
I'm using the pkmn-adress as well. Always do.
And I joined pe2k in this summer, but not even now do I like it there. I really think the themes has something to do with it!
Blossom Shower, ahhhhh sweet pinkness....
 
Well, when I got modded here I spent more time here. Even though my board at the other forums wasn't very active, I got demodded there for not posting enough I guess. Haven't really been back since.

Actually, they have a Rank system (I don't know how it works but I'm guessing it's related to the post count), and only members with a "high" rank can use custom avatars. As I said, they probably used this method to save bandwidth.

I haven't visited there in ages, but I do recall having a custom avatar even though I only had one post that counted... maybe that was before the revamped everything.
 
Well, thank god for PC :D

Btw, I just finished watching the 10th movie and I gotta say, the graphics are amazing.
I really liked it, but I'm not sure it's my favorite movie. I'll have to wait for the dub to judge.
When do y'all think the English version will be released?
 
Interesting point Ausaudriel. They should allow users to add users to have avatars uploaded on separate servers.

Apparently, I was wrong, only moderators have avatars, which is lame.
I got curious, so I looked it up in the FAQ, here is what it says:
Custom Avatars
You may see some members with Custom Avatars. They are moderators who have earned the right to have them. Normal members are not permitted to have Custom Avatars due to the bandwidth that would be taken up by 8,000+ members uploading their own images.
