So to summarize it all...the chances of actually finding a WISE person is like finding a needle in a haystack. Probably even less than that.

My school was on the news, or so said. Saying they got positive feedback and whatever. Wonder what the news crew was looking at, then...

My school's kind of the same. You think you know someone, but then you hear that they've done drugs or like to get smashed or whatnot. And my school has a bunch of people from our neighboring town known for having drunks, druggies, and crime. o_O;; Although I've learned to deal with those kinds of people. I don't hang out with them and whatever they do has nothing to do with me... as long as I don't get sucked into their crap (which I won't), then I'm good. :]
 
whoo I am so glad I don't have to put up with the crap that I did in High school. My class was horrible, not in drugs, but just behaved really bad. I feel sorry for my sophomore History teacher, the man was probably in his sixties and my class made him cry twice. And all he ever did to them was be nice. I think the closest we got to a drug bust i my high school was some idiot in the grade below mine who tried smoking in the bathroom and thought he could get away with it. He kept the pack in his pocket!
 
We have a smokers section here that is filled up everyday before and after school. :D I can't get to my bus without pushing my way through all the smokers and inhaling their smoke. It's disgusting. The people here are completely ridiculous. They start fights over the stupidest things, and they get way out of hand. I highly dislike them. \o/

Not everyone is like that, but the majority of my school is. It's pretty sad. >;

Yep. I guess because there are just so many kids here that smoke, so they can't really control it. They had red boxes painted onto the ground where the kids who smoke are supposed to stay, but they don't stay there.. they scatter all over the place. I wish they'd move the area or something, because it gets way to crowded and gross out there. They are right in front of the buses. ;/

My school apparently had a "Smoke pit" before I came there. But it was outside the staff room and the teachers got sick of inhaling those fumes. Can't say I blame them. Blech.
 
Our highschool has a section for smokers, which is kinda effed up if you think about it; You're not legally supposed to buy cigarettes until you're 18, and most of the kids who smoke there are under 18, (Since I mean..it's a highschool) so like..wtf? ._.

But since they have an area specifically for smoking in, if you're caught smoking outside of that area, they're pretty harsh on you. I don't smoke, but I know one of my friends who got caught for smoking in the front of our school building, and received a 4 day suspension for it o_O

I guess it makes sense, though; Our school is right next to a "Boys and Girls club."

Yeah, it's really gross.
I've also seen people buy drugs during class when the teacher isn't looking. XD; I am forced to attend such a messed up school. Transfering won't solve the problem, since I'm sure every school in this area is similar to mine.
 
Haha, if anyone at my school was caught smoking, you could expect yourself to be expelled within the hour. My school is about as strict as the White House with rules and regulations.

I've never seen people doing drugs on school property. Aside from gratuitous amounts of marijuana. >___> Although almost everyone here drinks. There are like...little 12 year olds who are drinking vodka. xD;;

I have. :D Right in the back fields in a bunch of bushes and around the bleachers. People we'll find beer bottles and stuff around there, too. I was out for gym class once last year, and we found the field so messy we had to take about 30 minutes out of soccer to clean up the beer bottles and other filth lying around the bleachers.

Thing is, it's not really much of an attempt. The smokers section is right beside the school, and has a long line of classroom windows along it. In the spring/summer/fall when it's too warm to have the windows closed, the smoke is blown into the classrooms, too. x__x; It affects everyone, and the section doesn't keep it under control at all. They should move it to the back of the school, but they don't. It's just stupid.

Alot of my friends do drugs..Personally, I try to stay away from them as much as possible, but I've been pressured into trying them before. Not pressured as in like, me putting the blame on them for me doing it, but..I was curious ._.

Nothing completely serious, but I have smoked weed before. It's not something that I do myself out of boredom, but just a few times when I was hanging out with friends, and they were all doing it. No, I'm not addicted; It wasn't really..that great, and holding up a drug addiction can be pretty..expensive, aside from the fact that it, if abused, can totally destroy your mind.

IMO Weed isn't an addictive drug at all, but it can be a "Gateway" into trying more fatal drugs, such as cocaine (Cah-cah yeah), or heroin. Weed itself isn't addictive, or any more harmful than smoking tobacco, but most of why you buy to get high off of is laced with PCP, which is what makes it more harmful =/

So yeah, um..try to stay away from buying drugs, especially if you don't know where you're buying from ._.

I've never been offered drugs nor have I even seen them. So, I'm probably lucky. Not that I'd even think of doing them for the fact that my uncle died because of them.
