I always got bored by Mary Poppins too. I don't think I've ever seen it in full. XD I do want to see it one day, though. Sort of.

I actually never likes Mary Poppins. When I was eight, I only got halfway through the movie and I had to turn it off 'cause I got so bored. :C

Indeed. I absolutely hated it. It was so boring, much like High School Musical, although the plot of Mary Poppins was a tad bit better, I have to admit.

A hint to never be scarred emotionally:

Never watch High School Musical or its sequel.
 
XD; They cause emotional scarring, huh? Well, I might watch it if I ever catch it on a free movie channel or something. I AM curious about it, but I don't think it'll be my thing.
 
I've seen both movies, and to this day I'm still not sure why I sat through the second one. XD; I'm not too fond of the singers, and... I guess I'm just "too old" for the movie. I know a lot of people my age like HSM, too, but there's a massive fanbase of 12-year-olds and under. :3
 
I really wish I could see it just to get an opinion on it. xD; I mean, I love Disney--especially the songs and everything--but since there are so many varying opinions on HSM...
 
It just wasn't my kind of movie. I'm not big on musicals in movie form - I'd rather see them on stage.
I'd actually probably like it better if I saw HSM on ice, when they had that on ice tour. :3
 
HSM was awesome, for the most part. HSM2 sucked. The music was awful compared to the first one, and the plot was worse too.
 
I didn't understand what was going on in HSM2. XD; HSM was okay, but again, not really my kind of movie. If I could see it on stage, though, I would~
 
I always thought HSM2 was better for some reason, but usually the first movie is always better than the sequel.

Just watch it and ignore the critics, it's really down to what you think about it, and no one else.

What's HSM? I can't really comment on it because I rarely watch anything other than Mythbusters, but I will say that I've noticed a trend with disney, they milk what they make far too much by making remakes of things that are best left as singles. (take for instance lion king, aladdin, and it's other classics.
 
HSM = High School Musical, one of the most popular Disney Channel Original Movies out there~
 
I've never seen HSM, I'm kinda not into musicals.

My friends like it though and everytime they talk about it, I laugh because I never thought my friends would actually watch a movie like that, it's not like them. XD
 
I liked HSM the first time I watched it. And then it just got too overrated and annoying and stuff. >; Some of the songs are nice, though.
 
I catch myself singing some of the songs sometimes 'cause they're so catchy. D: The songs in HSM2 aren't very good, though, and those are the ones I sing the most. Especially "I Don't Dance" (which can actually apply to me ^^).
