Don't be so eager to leave the house when you're 18, mostly because some people I've known have down that and had financial problems and moved back into their parental's house

Not really. I mean, I'm not trying to sound like I'm super eager to get out. XD I meant it as my mom and have some huge wars that it could be a good possibility. She's overprotective too, so eh. The finical situation isn't as bad as you guys think either, but don't really need to dive into that anyway. My mother probably wouldn't let me go, unless it's like the perfect situation, heh. XD However, it's like high tide - low tide with my family, so I don't know now that I think about it. =/

That's perfectly fine. Just make sure you have the money before you go off into the wide world. XD

Oy, like we all haven't heard that a billion times. XD But yeah, just saying the situation is a lot different then what you guys think. Twenties sound better too. Anyway, I'd rather not talk about it all. :x Thanks for caring though. XD Back on summer topic, everyone is getting off and looking for jobs. :O I'm like... completely opposite, have 5 courses for school and no job. XD This is what I get for starting my courses later in the year. I also need to bash my procrastination and book it in them anyway. ;/

Well, this summer, since I'm not going to be working as much, I guess I'll be hanging out, going to Canada's Wonderland since I have a season's pass. I don't have any vacations coming up in the summer, but I am going to Barbados in November, so that's exciting. :D

Anyone else going away this summer?

Well, I will try somewhere in the summer, read some Manga's and watch anime too. And will go many times since I have the season pass, go to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. But I know I will have great summer, so does everyone too :D

Pretty much how I plan to spen my summer too. And training Pokemon of course.:)

Mom said she wanted to go rock/gemstone hunting this summer. But what really interested me is a possible trip to Washington to see where she was raised and all the places she went to. But that looks like it'll have to wait. :/

I'll probably be going to Mexico for a week or so, Texas for a couple weeks and I'm sure some other places, but that's all that really pops into my mind at the moment~ :D

I go to New Brunswick every summer. Most of my family lives there.

... going to Canada's Wonderland since I have a season's pass.

I'm probably gonna head up there a few times, too. I don't have a season's pass, but I live just outside of Ottawa (which is only 3-4 hours away from Toronto).

As far as I know, I'm going to be in Portugal for three weeks during July and my family might decide to go down the country for a few weeks in August, which is okay. I've gone to the Gaeltacht down in the country for two weeks since I finished the school year, which was cool. For those of whom do not know, which I'm guessing is all of you Americans, a Gaeltacht is where most Irish teenagers go during the Summer to learn Irish. It sounds boring, I know, but it is seriously fun, because you're on your own in a house with three other kids your own age and you're being looked after by one lady. The Irish lessons are only three hours long. I've gone thrice and I think I'll go again next year too.

I'm going to South Carolina for a week \o/! And I'll be right by the ocean, so I am pumped. I also found out that one of my friends will be there the same week I am and she and her family are even staying at the same hotel as us. Craaaazy.

Next summer however, I know my family is going to Canada 8D and abroad somewhere else, we just haven't decided where yet.

I'm in school during the summer. :[ I alternate school and work terms so... no more summer vacations for me. ;o; My family wasn't going anywhere anyway, though, so I'm not missing out... unlike my friend whose family is going to Greece and Italy while he's stuck here at school. XD;

Maaan I really want to hit up Wonderland at some time though. ;o; I wanna try the Behemoth but I don't know when I'll get to go up there. D: It'll be so busy on weekends, eww.

I'm going to NC for a week with family at the end of next month, and I'm also saving up to go out to Hawaii at christmas to spend time with some of my family that got transferred out there.

The Behemoth is amaaaaazing. \o/ That one drop, the one that's like... 85 degrees or something, doesn't really feel that steep, and, like, my stomach didn't drop then like on other rides. It seems really scary when you're in line and stuff, but when you're actually on it, it's amazing.

Oh, and because it's so high, you might tear up. I came off the ride with tears in my eyes from the height of the ride, and because we were going so fast. :'D

Well, I don't know if I will be traveling anywhere. It was planned to spend a week in Miami and a week in Maryland, but that fell though. I was really looking forward to it. ;o; But you know, that happens. I may try and hit up an anime con with my sister. She hasn't been to one yet.

sdlfhskdfsjles DO WANT. ;_; I reeeally have to make it there at some point this summer. :[ I saw it all the time as they were building it and as soon as I saw that drop go up... daaaaamn, I was excited. XD;

I looooove watching roller coasters, learning about them, seeing those shows on TV about them, and playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, but I've never ridden one. Heights, speeds, and going upside down are all some of my biggest fears, so that automatically puts coasters out of the question. XD

I think rollercoasters are incredibly cool looking. But I've been on only one so far, and that was Raging Bull at a Great America close to where I live. But I'm too lazy ever to go back. :p

I quite like rollercoasters, they look cool and they're exhilarating. I've only gone on Thunder Mountain in Disney Land though, so I can't really say much.

I love roller coasters. *_* I used to see commercials on TV for Canada's Wonderland, the big amusement park just outside Toronto allllll the time as a kid and I always wanted to go there. I was totally thrilled to then end up living like 5 minutes away. XD; I'm a bit bored of it now, but maaan, I'll never forget that it gave me my first ride on an upside-down coaster. I'd really like to hit up some of the bigger ones in the US but I don't know when I'd ever get around to that. D8
