And if there's any kind of international arc, it has to take place in France. Pierre Trosgrois and Joel Robuchon would make absolutely epic villains.

That would be totally awesome. His dad could have been training him, but then he killed himself before he could reach the sheer level of awesomeness that was his father.

That is awesome! Flay could actually take control of Kitchen Stadium when he breaks the Bell Pepper of Fate into nine different cooking styles and spreads them around the world. Kaga will have to travel the world and learn to cook and gather his Iron Chefs, then they all return to overthrow Flay, who in the end everyone finds out is actually just an enchanted secret ingredient by an even stronger evil and then you have the door open for the second series!

They so would. There should be some sort of international pantheon of evil chefs who are out to destroy the Kaga family name. The Iron Chefs themselves could be decended from ancient cooking knights who defended the Kaga honor in the past.
 


The Ace Combat Zero soundtrack makes everything more epic. (Admittedly, the whole Belkan War schtick works far better with Lyrical Nanoha than Madoka Magica, but let's not let that get in the way of a good AMV.) Also, Yuri Lowenthal as Homura and Johnny Yong Bosch as Sayaka makes me laugh for some reason.

She hates cats. She actually told us how her cat jumped on her face and how she kicked it out of her room. (Literally ._.)

I think I would have a super hard time letting go of a pet. :\ It'd feel like such a betrayal to me. That's why I really don't want one—they live a long time, and I don't want to be committed forever, since I wouldn't be able to give it up.

Do you know who they went to, Jorfe? Any chance of being able to see them again sometime? :O

Switch from basic to advanced text editor and it'll be there (and auto-disable them if you've selected that setting). But it doesn't work with the basic one for some reason.

That's...that's pretty terrible. I imagine something like that would make me dislike cats as well.

I kinda felt the same, but we can't exactly keep...well we had six cats. They all came from two litters a stray around here had, we've had two of them for nearly a year and the other four are about four months old. I think I'm good keeping two or three since their life span is only (oh morbid) about 15 years.
 
You can always disable similes through your CP :0

Exactly. Someone out there in the world knows the Kaga clan's ultimate secret technique, the Amakakeru Ryori no Hirameki, that can cut a piece of meat into nine slices with one movement of a knife. Kaga's father had a second disciple that he parted with on bad terms but who lives as a hermit with no way to be found.


YES YES YES. Defeating Flay is just the beginning. It turns out that he was just a small fry, a cog in the infinitely larger and more menacing machine of galactic cuisine. Kaga and his Iron Chefs will be forced to cook with ingredients that don't even exist on earth and even defy the laws of physics as we know them in order to save the earth from aliens who are considering making humans the next secret ingredient in their own intergalactic version of Iron Chef.

We do need some kind of crazy backstory too XD The Iron Chefs are all reincarnated from famous warrior chefs throughout history. It's the fact that they were all reincarnated in Japan in the 20th century that aroused the interest of Bobby Flay and his evil intergalactic organization. The Bell Pepper of Fate instinctively reacted to this alignment of souls by seeking these strong men in order to unite them for battle.

Switch from basic to advanced text editor and it'll be there (and auto-disable them if you've selected that setting). But it doesn't work with the basic one for some reason.

I swear we've been through this song-and-dance before. Like, it wasn't on the simple editor, then it was, now it's not!

We should just give Audy some angle brackets. He'll take care of it. It's probably just a column in the posts table. Maybe.

Edit: Lol, okay, that smilie in the quote made me laugh pretty hard.. Maybe I'll keep them on.

Something is baaaaaaaad wrong with those smilies. What happened to all of the ones that we used to use years ago? They were much milder, and we had fun ones like Pokemon heads.

Nooo idea. They were Craig's Listed, so I'll probably never see them again. I'll be happy knowing they've got a good home. (we gave away the two on the left, I'll be keeping the one on the far right)

I love everything about this. You could even make that guy into a Muten Roshi-like character who carries around a giant wok instead of a turtle shell!

Oh good lord that sounds beautiful. It could turn out that Earth is just a small planet in the grand Universal Culinary Alliance that is under thread by the Secret Ingredients of Evil. Kaga and his chefs will have to master cooking styles from all over the universe and eventually take part in a giant tournament against all the planets that are part of the alliance. He'll eventually realize that the Secret Ingredients are an ancient cooking technique created on planet Fuji where all cooking originated.

The Iron Chefs were actually members of a secret group of knights that protected all culinary justice in the universe. They fought evils and kept secret recipes safe until they were overthrown by Flay's master and had their souls scattered to a backwoods little planet called Earth, where the villain was sure they were never to be awakened again.

I think all the old smilies are still there. I've been meaning to upload sprites of all the recent Pokémon so people don't have to externally link them or something but... it's too much work. The :O smilie was all Steve's doing and he insists they should be there so... *sob*

I've seen worse, but I agree with you that the smilies we have here are pretty bad, especially :O, it looks nothing like the rest of the smilies.

What really bothers me is the post icons, good thing they'll most likely be getting replaced, soon.
