Wow, well that came together fast. I called my mom and told her we need to schedule a vacation sometime between the 6th and 11th of May...and then like an hour later she agreed and scheduled it for the 7-10 XD Love it.

lmao. This thread looks like it came straight out of HQ or something. I'm rather proud that members are taking an interest in community affairs and looking at it from different angles than just what they would like.

My dad signed me up for ACT prep classes for 4 days a week (for 3 weeks) and we're supposed to go to China and/or Alaska for most of the time the same three weeks. What a fail.

So are yall still going?
That would suck if they canceled the trip for ACT prep classes XD
Idk. And it's ticking me off. I have back up plans, but they're like you're still too young to be left alone. I mean, I've stayed for 2 days at home and I know how to cook, and not let strangers into the house. Unless they have candy of course. :3 I want to go. But I want to do good on the ACT, plus I probably will have a job and I have to learn some new dances D:

Truthfully unless you need like a 30+ or something ACT then I wouldn't bother with studying. If you do well in school A/B's then you'll get in the high 20's and if you are a B/C's student you'll get something in the low 20's (which most schools accept...well state schools anyway XD)

My family won't accept anything lower than a 30 and the lowest score any kid (Cousins, since we're the 1st generation in America) has scored less that a 33. I plan on going to a University tho D:

I'm a B/C student...I think...I haven't had the ACT yet...I'm in eight grade. I take final exams, though. My parents don't really care about my test grades...they just say: "you could have done better." ...

Well, you should probably take it the winter's of your sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school. The last time you take it should be right before you apply for your entrance to the schools you want to go to.

I'm a Sophomore right now, we take it during Junior year, and I think I'm going to re take it a couple of times to see what the highest score I can get is...

I don't have an option of dropping out, and I wouldn't want to tbh. I have plans that I've been following, and I don't think I would be able to achieve them without HS :o

Yup. You never know what could be on it, you have an idea of what it is, but then again it changes every year. You could study, but you probably won't fully know everything on the test.

I'm borderline insane.

I'm just worried about it. Really worried about it D:

I'm going to start studying the day of Summer Break.

You shouldn't be, ACT is nothing but another college requirement, after you get in...you never need to worry about it again. And once you take it the first time, you'll realize it was nothing to worry about.

Ick, the ACTs suck. I didn't do too well on mine, but it all worked out though because I got to go to community college and actually work on my grades and I got into my top choice school as a transfer and i'm paying half of what I would have if I got in straight away. plus, it gave me more time to think about my major :)

don't stress too much over them though, you can always improve your application in other ways if your score isn't the best.
