I haven't done homework in four years unless it's like an end of term project that goes towards my results.
 
I still have an English paper to write plus 50 notecards for said paper, but other than that the only homework I really get is math. Heck, I just took my Forensics final yesterday (finals aren't 'til June for Juniors and below; it's kind of a long story why I took a 45-minute 50-question final early), so that lessens the homework load a little (I only had to do case studies for that class, but w/e).

Bahaha, same. My high school lockers were really only for my outdoor shoes and coat in the wintertime. I love when people come to high school and they're like "omg gotta decorate my locker" and bring all these photos and magnets and pretty much pimp out their locker, while mine just had a pair of shoes and a coat inside. XD

Ugh, so glad my first year of university's done. Exams were pretty stressful and I'm glad it'll be a while until I have to deal with them again.
 
So I have a project to do in my AP Euro class, we have to make a Facebook page for 5 famous people who were a major part of the French Revolution o.o

That sounds like a cool assignment.
 
Reminds me of something similar that was done in 10th grade. We were reading a summary of Beowulf and my English/Government teacher decided to put up an ad relating to the story on Craigslist. It really got on there, and we were cracking up about it. It got taken down later, but still.
 
It sounds cool, but it's hard work :/

We have to replace the real ads with our own ads and add people from that century on the friends list :x
 
I can't do group projects. I have social anxiety in the real world, and if we have to choose our partners I can't approach anyone, even if they're friends of my friends. And then when I actually do get placed in a group, it's really hard to interact with anyone, especially if all the other group members are friends with one another and I'm the outcast.
 
Yea, I'm not really good with working in groups either, even if I know the people, it's easier for me to do work by myself. Plus, I trust myself with my own grade so I usually end up doing most or all of the work :/

I'm not very social. I'm barely a people's person. Heck, I barely like people as is. I just think if I can do a good job by myself, I don't need groups. My teachers always asked me ahead of time if I wanted to do the project myself or in a group.
 
The advantage of groups is you can split the work up between you instead of eaching doing 4 hours, you can each do 1. Then when you get together you all spit out your hour worth of work and get 3 hours free. Pretty good eh?

But sometimes I do prefer just tackling work by myself, such as questions or some simple task. Posters just suck.
 
Even worse is when you're in a group of slackers and you're the only one who cares about the grade. Then you're forced to help everyone else out.

This is why you make friends with the smart people.

That's in theory. In real life, somehow, you go four hours of work each to make 4 x 4 and 16 hours of work altogether. Don't ask me.

aaaaaah group work. I can't stand doing work in groups - mostly because I'm a twisted, egotistical person who tends to look down on others. I'm supposedly smart, but all it does for me is make me frustrated when other people can't keep up. There's always a little voice in my head that's always complaining how the others are slower, or lazier, or dumber than me. I try and make it stop, but it keeps going. It keeps trying to convince me that the rest of my group is just slowing me down and it . . . ah? What the hell am I writing? Well, I can't pretend it's not true, but it makes me sound horrible.

That's why I ditched Drama. It's not a subject you can do on your own. I was always the one writing the scripts, the one typing things up, the one organising things, the one kicking everyone's metaphorical butts until they learned their damn lines . . .

I am in a strange, strange mood today. I blame Lelouch vi Britannia, personally.
 
Group projects are fun, but not when it is a crucial grade. Like in 7th grade making a frontier fort, that was fun. What is not fun is compiling info and hoping your group does the same then they let you down. Working in groups with friends or people you know is fun, but when you don't have a choice in the matter it's not as fun imo.
