I've only entered the Dream World once. :( It's really fun I suppose, I just never feel like going in there most of the time. I remember all the Fennel hate that went around though, heh.

I love the Dream World <3 It's definitely a lot better than the PokeWalker. The only problem is that you need friends in order to do more stuff, but if we all exchange FCs or whatever on here then problem solved! /not suggesting that we do, I'm just saying...

The PokeWalker had you walk, which is easier than...walking, I suppose.

Dream World has you play minigames that're fun at first, fastfoward a week later and Dream WHAT?

I just trade and get the Pokes I need.

Female Pokemon are awesome though <3 And besides, I don't like walking. Too much work. /has to climb and descend three flights of stairs every so often during school; there's a reason I stopped carrying textbooks

I carried my Pokewalker around until I lost it on the cruise. As for the Dream World... I still haven't entered. v___v;

Textbooks are the reason why I enjoyed my High School. We didn't have lockers or anything. We just got our textbooks at the beginning of the year to stay at home, and then we would use the class set for school work. Then, when the school year was over we would bring back the textbooks. Yup.

That would save the countless 50kg bags that I have carried to and from school.
Such a simpler time.

Personally, I think we should all get eBooks with our textbooks on them. The textbooks wouldn't cost too much to download, and you can even get books you need for lit. or something like that.

One of the flaws with that is that the savings buying the eBooks gives gets negated easy. First off, there's the matter of buying an eBook reader for every student, then there's buying the eBooks for each eBook reader, and then there's the matter that students would be far more likely to steal the eBook readers as opposed to the textbooks, adding to costs by the school likely having to replace a few or more every year. More convenient for the student, but far more cost inefficient for the school.

Guess whose previous school gave their students MACINTOSH LAPTOPS. The school was already low on funds, and while I will admit the class population wasn't the highest, still. Even at 20 grand for every student attending it wasn't enough.

I'm not saying that the eBooks are school-owned; I'm saying they're student-owned. Heck, if anything, private schools should promote this sort of thing. Public schools, on the other hand... /some know how I feel about public schools

My school has laptops too but we rarely use it. .__.; Because of that, I have to bring at least 8 books/textbooks to school EACH DAY and they're so heavy. >n<

The laptops and computers at our school are rubbish, so I always bring mine when I need it for something.

We do use textbooks, but we have lockers to put them in (which are far from average - they became smaller from the previous years).

I guess I am lucky to have lockers at my school, however small they may be. Damn cartoons, they made me believe every school had big lockers and other things.

Damn brothers, went to private schools and make you believe there is little homework in years 10-12.

School, what a bastard.

Actually, I can vouch for that. I'm attending a college prep private Catholic school right now and I must say the homework load is not that big. I mean, I can still procrastinate and get good grades. Heck, I always do my math during lunch, which is right before the class itself. At my previous school it was about the same, so yeah.

...Of course, I'm only in two Honors classes, and one of those is Band, where the only requirements are to practice and show up for gigs. My previous school didn't even have AP classes or exams either, but yeah.

There is a heck of a lot of homework for me D:

I hardly ever use my locker, I probably have used it just for putting my jacket in during the winter :x
