Whoo! My first post in the new DCC! \o/

Anyway, I hate flying as well. I've heard so many horror stories about autistic people getting kicked off for whatever reasons. It scares me because I've never flown myself, and I'm not really sure what to expect. My parents always tell me that flying isn't bad, so they don't seem to understand my fears for flying. :c

A lot of airports and airlines offer varying degrees of assistance for people with hidden disabilities :)

There is no chance I could ever fly without it.

I'm flying nowhere cause I'm scared of flights. :<

Flying isn't actually that scary after the first time. Initially I was pretty nervous because OMFG PLANE AIR SO HIGH but eventually I calmed down and now it's super duper easy. I can plug in my headphones and clock out or flip open my laptop and get some work done. I can even sit next to window seats now!

There's nothing wrong with Ohio!

I've lived in the damn place my whole life and I can assure you nothing in that state is keeping me tethered. The second I can leave it permanently is the moment my life truly begins.

gonna actually make some time to go to disney this year, although it'll likely happen sometime in the fall/winter months because going there in the summer is a definite no-no.

my sister renewed our disney passes (though accidentally got platinum so now we're def trying to go as often as possible hahah) after we didn't renew them last year we missed it so much haaaa. i missed it so much the year we didn't go so i feel you there ;;

Having passes and the ability to go to Disney seems unreal to me. I would love to be able to go at the drop of a hat. Jealous of y'all!

whenever you're planning going to disney you should hit me up! my pass doesn't end until mid-autumn iirc and chances are if we can we'll probably renew them once again hahah.

my old manager (when i was assistant) and multi-unit manager roped me into getting them the first time. no regrets though!! it's a bit of a drive ig but after going so often it doesn't feel like it hahah. course the mileage on my car says otherwise oop

I've only been to Disney...once? My parents (mom especially) didn't like theme parks.

My issue is just the coast for an annual pass. :(
it's pretty hefty but it helps that it's a month payment to pay for the passes. the cheapest pass is like less than 20$ a month though you're limited to weekdays and you can't go over the summer or during certain weeks of the month. pretty sure univeral and busch garden's works the same way (my brother has a busch gardens pass he got me these rly cute decorative plates for christmas from there)

as a general rule if you're a florida native you should buy annual passes anyway assuming you make a habit of going to theme parks. rising ticket prices is one of the many reasons why and it's really just kind of cost-effective in the long run.

if i lived in florida or even in a florida adjacent state to where i could justify going regularly i would buy passes

as is, i've only been to disney world once when i was about 6 and I really want to go again!

going there feels surreal i can tell you that much

idk i guess personally the magic doesn't really wear off everytime i go there. it's really hard to get bored

animal kingdom was amazing though and i daresay it was slightly above magic kingdom itself as far as enjoyable experiences go
