Floridians are spoiled. Like I said at school today people in Florida wear jackets when it is 70 degrees.

I just put that in a converter and it said more or less 20C. I would never wear a jacket then. I start wearing mine when it starts to hit about 5C or less. (AKA now)

I said it like 5 times now, so I'll say it again.
It all has to do with region, the fact that you live in England means you're more accustomed to it being really cold. Well. I've never seen snow, meaning it doesn't get cold enough here for snow to even happen.

THEREFORE, how can Floridians be used to weather they never have the live in and/or are used to experiencing? Maybe we just like to be warm, so we like to wear a sweater when it's ~*~a bit nippy~*~ outside. Sorry that's such a bad thing that's totally worthy of insult c:

And when stupid cold, I wear more layers. Like a sweater pulled over my hoodie.

The hard part is a footwear solution. I put bread bags in my boots so I can hustle through the snowy 'shortcuts', fields, and run for the bus.

I also put napkin stacks in my pockets so I can wear thinner mittens.

Not much to do with ice other than hope the guy in front "lets you know" where the patches are.

Count me out of snowball fights. I've seen enough snow (and the car accidents it causes) to last me a lifetime. It's why I'm attending college in the south.

I've been in an accident due to ice. It wasn't bad, just a didn't stop in time and hit the back of the car in front of us. Meh.
