I havn't posted in any holiday thread here.
I always have something better to do. xD

But now that you can get emblems for posting in them, I'll be doing that. xD

That's probably it, but whoever repped everyone did it awfully late.

Apparently if pays to post in holiday threads, what with a random rep and possible emblem coming your way.

I think it was worth around 11 points.
It was enough to get me a few points away from the second level.

I usually add it up with my original score and see the difference.

That's kinda stupid. It just shows you're rep/emblem hungry and would be willing to do anything to get that rep; even if you don't celebrate that holiday. Abuse, imo.

I celebrate every holiday I have posted in, and the rep(s) and emblem came in by surprise.
But I do agree that that's abusing the rep, not that I hate it or anything.
 
I don't really see why people should get repped for celebrating a holiday either. Most of the world celebrates 'Christmas' and nowhere near to the entire population of the world is a member of PC, so repping just a select group and in some cases, because the repper thinks they deserve it for being patriotic on celebrations for example such as 'Australia Day' and 'Independance Day' is stupid because there's a whole world out there o_o
 
I would think saying "Happy Thanksgiving" was sarcasm, because I'll say Merry Christmas whenever I give my friend a pencil to use. xD;

But um, rep isn't everything. As for emblems.. -shot-

I just like to be competitive and surpass friends, and that's impossible, so whatever now. :Q

I agree, through being on PC I've gained a competetitive streak, which I'm breaking down. Quality should always be over quantity However, I realised this long ago, but for over 3 years I've been too ignorant to change. The point is that numbers aren't everything.
 
Lawl, I forgot that rep was there from April - October or so, and now I hardly ever check mine :x Much less give any out, unless it's a post that really stands out in my mind.

I agree that the amount of posts/rep isn't everything, the quality of your posts or the post that's repped is what really counts.
 
I've just started giving out rep, cause it tends to make people happy. I could care less about it. My friends tend to rep me a lot I think. I dunno. That, and I'm apparently funny. I didn't know. XD
I've never once asked for rep, unlike a lot of people.

As for emblems, I haven't really cared about them. Though, I think they are neat, I don't care if I have them or not.

But, I really don't mind xD
cause rep is totally cooler than emblems

I get a few blank reps every now and again. It makes me feel nice. :]
 
I gave out emblems to people for a few days, and then forgot about them XD; I think it was more of not knowing anymore people who deserved any and not just forgetting them in general. I still have my eyes open for people who earn them though >:3

I think most people aren't as pumped for emblems as they were. xD
It was kinda like "Yay! Emblem for me!!" at first. But now it's excitement kinda dying out. :/
