Nobody is a noob unless they act like one.

Seriously.

Wow, bro. Great job staying on topic. I am impressed. :D

Yeah, Jack, I figure most animes aren't going to be 100% accurate if they're trying to recreate real world events. Especially when they have magic and giant goo things. XD

Not to mention super prosthetic arms, dragons, DEMON PORTALS, fat monsters, and robots which you can inject your soul into.

The way the Thule Society (which was an actual organization, by the way) was presented in Conqueror of Shamballa was just absurd. It would have been just fine if they had just stuck to technology actually available in 1920s Germany, but instead they get equipment that would have steamrolled the Allies if it had actually existed; the 1940s Luftwaffe would have killed to get their hands on a few of those liquid-fueled rocket dropships.
Reminds me how if the war lasted into 1946, Germany would have had guided missiles (Ruhrstahl X-4) for their jet fighters.

But even then the pure weight of American/Allied power (I mean the Americans were churning out Mustangs by this time...and German Jet Fighters were still used as bombers due to engine troubles) would be too much for Germany. The US would already have Atomic Weapons and Bomber drop capabilities. Even German Atomic research wasn't united so to speak...=/

LOL...I love history. XD

You seriously love history? o____o Wanna do my history essay for me?

History can be so interesting if you have the right teacher and the right kind of history. My history teacher was a little bit-- ..meanie, and I hated the class, but I've found that some history is incredibly interesting. I also find that the saying "History is bound to repeat itself" is true, which makes everything very interesting. When you believe that, it just makes you want to know what's happened in the past.

Hey, we're back into a recession aren't we? :x

Yeah...Parallels to 1930 and 1980 anyone?

Well, they do say that if you don't learn from past mistakes, history will eventually end up repeating itself.

I only wish people would pay attention to sayings like that.

Our society has gotten more and more ignorant so no chance in that happening! Gotta love it.

rise of the Web. Makes me a bit hopeful. =/

I certainly hope not. How many people have you seen on this forum alone who are unable to type a sentence without managing to massacre the English language? The web has made us incredibly lazy (twenty years ago, a dictionary would be needed, now there's dictionary.com and for everything else there's Google), not smarter.

Well you could say that it just made info more accessible. But I see what you mean, and I agree. =/

Ay...I wonder what the future will hold.

I just want to settle down on a good career and live an average life...

I despise people who can't take two minutes to correctly type out a quick sentenace or two.

It's abosolutely annoying.

Yeah, Netto, the future is always pretty interesting to think about. Right now, it looks pretty bleak, but I can totally see myself as a private investigator, or an interrogator, or president, barely coping to maintain the upkeep of my family, and my wife is cheating on me, ect. Tragedies are fun.

*Absolutely.

oh the irony..
*sentence
*absolutely

Most people just want to say what they want to really quickly. If you can type it shorter and it still sounds the way it's pronounced, it's fine, in their opinion.

but onestly i don wan peepl tipin lyk dis ereware

And seriously, what happened to a simple capital? No one capitalizes the beginning of their sentences or the I anymore. Am I the only one who finds that frustrating? >>;

I did that on purpose. I wanted to see if you guys would see it.

Oh and about the I thing - I do too.

I hate, hate, hate, it when people don't capitalize things that need to be capitalized. Does it kill anybody to hold down the shift key when necessary?
