XD That old dinosaur that I used to use (which has now been replaced, luckily) was never cleaned either, at the hardware or software level. :P It was just such a flimsy thing that I couldn't even put CCleaner on it. :P

We've got an old HP laptop running Win 98 that you can't install or copy stuff onto anymore without it freezing. I'm actually surprised it still works, though I never use it at all now that I have my own laptop which is actually good. :D

Yeah, I can't imagine how I got in without a proper computer for myself. :P Guess it's one of those situations where you put up with inconveniences because you don't know anything better. XD;

I love my lappy...

except that it runs Vista and the fact that if I ran a Linux my parents would probably notice me running under a different OS and bring out the sledgehammers. Oh yes... and the 2 GB RAM. I envy those with 3... I wish I could run Spore CC without it freezing constantly. It's really making me wonder about getting the full version :<

I think 2 is a lot, it is a lot for me anyways. I am also just running XP SP3, I will get Vista when things stop being compatible with XP. At least, things I use anyways.

I wish I had a laptop, but I'm pretty fine with the computer in my room now anyway. My mom has one, but it's frankly a piece of crap. I'm getting one as a graduation present for when I go to college, however.

...why? Why would you want to pay that much for such a sub-par computer? There are other lightweight laptops that give you faaar more than the Air for about $1k less. If you don't mind a small screen, just go with a netbook. @_@ I cannot think of a SINGLE beneficial reason to getting a MacBook Air over another kind of computer.

Macbook Air?...that thing could shatter if one of your hairs falls on the keyboard. My regular MacBook suits me perfectly. I prefer the white to the black (black looks nicer, but just think of how many scratches it gets), the keyboard is clear and clean (and I can do this! ¡™£∞•¶§ºπøˆ¨¥†®´∑ XD), plus all the features like switching the windows, the lightning, the sound quality, and the intense organization that notepad, iCal, Finder, iPhoto, and what not are excellent and way better than the Dell Studio I had for three weeks last summer (it then crashed, got it fixed, then the speakers blew out after having been static-y since I got it.)

An Air is just way too fragile for me, though. XD

The only reason I can think of to get an Air is just to have a Mac but... but seriously? Just Hackintosh another computer or spend the same amount on a Macbook and a netbook or something for if you really need portable. x_x; I just... I don't understand why you'd want such a subpar computer for so much.

I honest to god think Apple just released it to see if anyone would buy their stuff just for the logo--and they actually got results which is hilarious.
