I've alwasy wanted to work at a game store.... I would have so much fun. XD
But, sadly, I have to wait until after this year to get a job. T.T
 
Working at a game store really isnt fun. You just stand, giving games out. And most of the time hte ppl there dont know anything about games at all :/
 
I have 2 jobs. Game Stop & Dollar Tree. & omg the n00bs that come into game stop sometimes ^^;;
 
I've got a jooooob. It's pretty easy for the hours I do and the money I make, so I like it.

I don't exactly like a few of the people I work with though. ): They can be really annoying and tell me to do stuff that they're supposed to do, but are too busy looking at AOLnews.
 
I go to college, I desperately need a job, but I can't find one. Curse this economy!

Nah, it wasn't me, it was Ryan aka PiroMunkie (or something like that), but that was back when Member Fanclubs added to post count as well, so every thread in there was basically a mini DCC.

EDIT: Haha. That post was from yesterday so the topic is loooooong gone now. Nevermind then, you all carry on.
 
Oh gawds. I may not be that great at grammar, but I wouldn't use internet speak in essays. I suck at internet speak anyways. XD

As for me, I now have both a part time job and volunteer work while studying at university. Luckily this time at my job I don't need to worry about customers for this quarter and instead I'll be helping with the cooks preparing the food. XD; Need less stress anyways because I know one of the professors I'll be having will wants us to do a billion assignments at once (I had him before already). XD

Same, but you'd be surprised just how freaking often it happens. One of my courses has a forum for us to use and the number of people that just use net speak is insane. Can't really understand what the hell they're saying half the time and if you try to help them, they end up yelling at you in person because you could understand like, half of what they were saying. >_>

Most people could understand simple words like LOL or BRB, but it is insanely stupid when they say IWTGSC or some crap like that. Netspeak is meant for the internet, not the papers./suck-up

Is it right for me, to want them to fail badly? XD

I'm only biased, because I am taking an English Major...

Sure I use 'lol' and the odd 'rofl' and whatever else, but I only do that on the internet, and even then, when I am speaking to someone I know in real life (via the internet), I replace 'lol' with 'haha' as sometimes I don't know people's familiarity with the internet, though it would seem that a lot of people use 'lol' now.

Oh my god, that reminds me. My last school had a Latin teacher which put of a Proboards forum for people in his class who needed help and stuff. So I read some of the threads asking for help. Hold on, let me find it:

People were just replying with comments like "How do you type correctly?"

Well, as far as I know we don't have forums, but I can safely say that nearly everyone at my school needs to work on theirs. >_>
