Haven't been to school since 2003. Didn't even have to have that as the last year. I could have been done in 2002. Needed 50% in Chemistry to pass. Got 49%. That one other year was for one silly class. Took the liberty to repeat Math. Good thing as I improved my Math grade by just over 30% higher than previous by actually doing my homework and studying. Should have doing my homework for years before then, haha.
 
At my school/ Sixth Form, forums like these were banned. Dx We used to spend our breaks looking for proxy sites. XD

Only websites like Facebook are banned. Before Youtube was banned, but it turned out we used it in class so much that they let is pass x3

I'm in university. I usually don't bring my laptop to class. I'll bring if I have time between to class or I'll be handing around for a while. But...I'm paying for this class to pay attention to the lecture, not chit chat.

I can understand it if it were free, or cheap. But its not, so by golly I'm going to get my money's worth XD

But then again, it may just be me. I never skipped in highschool unless I asked my teacher first or he told me too. I'm a goody goody
 
I never skipped high school either. XD

I just couldn't stand this one class of mine, so I didn't go to the last two classes. Last time I was there, we spent ninety minutes "learning" how to calculate the average among a group of numbers. I had actually gotten angry, realizing that I was paying $600 to get taught material that I had learned when I was in Grade Six.

So I just walked out in the middle of the lecture, XD.

I skipped last class today and went into town. My headmaster rang my dad when he found out. Not a good idea D:
 
The only time I skipped class was when I overslept. It was my only class of the day, and it only lasted an hour, so it wasn't too bad. XD; -goody goody-
 
If I ever skip school, it won't just be a class. It will be the whole day; It won't be worth it if I get the same results from having to suffer through the rest of the school day.
 
Well i'm pretty sure I've got detention at least.
I had a big escapade with my parents about how I wante dto drop out, which I do, as I have no need for higher education. My ability lies within music and literature yet, I need to stay in school and sped 1/8th of my school hours a day doing something related to my prior interests! Just doesn't make sense to me. Lik, I will never use math, not at this level, or Biology or any subject like that! Yet the education system deems you supid if you don't finish up to 3rd level education!

This isn't a meritocracy, if you want to get a decent job then you will need qualifications. Sure you could earn some cash as a musician, but not enough to live on (Unless you become an international superstar... but... yeah... Unlikely. xD)

That is what everyone says. You will need to use math for everyday activities, no matter what you want your profession to be. Football players said the same thing about their reading, and most of them became bankrupt because of their inability to read. Their agents took all of their money, and they are nowhere now.


Anyways, I am pissed. My cousin took and sold one of my games without asking.

Well you see, I did consider this but as it stands and as it will stand for many years to come, there is a rather big drout of jobs. I mean sure I could leave with 6A1's on my leaving exam but at the end of the day, I'll have to pay my way through another 3-4 years of college working at a low end job. With the Lisbon Treaty now being under effect in most European countries, means that Ireland will get the bad end of it. We're a small country with a low population. If you consider the power Britain & Germany will have compared to us if we vote yes to stay within certain sectors in the EU, you will see why most will be unhappy. Germany -18% of power UK - 14% Ireland - 0.8% all with a 1.84 minimum wage which is about £1.30 or $2 an hour.
Democracy is screwed here, all we have is luck, and it truely is, who you know, not what you know now.
