...Kay, some Vevo videos I can access, some I can't. That one, can't. XD;
Since I know for sure that I used to access ones off it in the past.

<3 Paula Deen. I saw her restaurant in Savannah when I went a few years ago, but it was so packed I couldn't eat there :(

Ugh I can't think about food right now x_x

I'm vegetarian so sushi gets kinda boring after a while. I like it when I find a place that makes it well, but beyond that it's just like "oh look avocado and cucumber again." I don't like imitation crab either, the fact that it comes in sticks sorta bugs me.

Sushi, boring?
I really want to try some. I've never had any..
I hate fish, and everything related to it, with the exception of fish and chips. <3

I love seafood, by the way. ;D Lobster FTW.

Here, they pretty much make it mandatory for you to take those tests. They make them sound really hard and like "you wont get to college unless you take the ACT/SAT" and stuff like that.

Lies... unless you want to get into a four year school for something that can't be done at a technical school or community college.

Now I feel like a BBQ and fish.

At 1am.

Thanks DCC. :(

I hate it when I get those cravings, especially after midnight, which is when both the grocery store and the McDonald's here close. It's like: OMG! WHY DID YOU WAIT UNTIL NOW TO TELL ME?! THE ONLY PLACES OPEN ARE THE 24-HOUR CONVENIENCE STORES NOW! D:

I totally missed this, but did you go to my high school or something? Mine was the same way. It was very competitive and pretty much told everybody that if you didn't go to a well-established college right after graduating then you weren't going to be successful. Since I didn't have the slightest idea what I wanted to do (and still don't), and can't afford half of the schools I wanted to go to, my guidance counselor gave me the idea of going to community college to get my core classes out of the way then going wherever. I ended up just taking a whole year off.

But most four-year/private schools do require a minimum ACT/SAT score while most community colleges are happy if you haven't been convicted of a felony. Schools like to over-dramatize the importance and impact of having a really high ACT/SAT score and how difficult the tests are, too. I didn't take any SAT prep courses and got a 1680 on my first try then a 1730 on my second. I'm sure if I took prep courses I would have done better, but art schools don't require a ridiculously high score to get in.
Meanwhile I spent one day trying to get a friend to stop crying because she "only" got a 2130...

And well, at my school, they're just strictly but leniently enforced. In other words, they don't have a set standard for you to reach in order to make them proud or anything. As long as you get a high score, that's all they care about, because apparently colleges in my area are getting really selective and picky about the students that they're letting in, so yeah. ._.

And a 2130 on the SAT is one of the highest scores I've ever heard someone get. o.o I'm planning on taking the ACT/SAT eventually but hopefully I'm gonna do well on it. I'm pretty nervous to be honest, knowing how much my school stresses the importance of both exams.

But then again, it probably won't be that bad, like the AP exam I took. Sure, it was terrible in most parts, but it wasn't as hard as my teacher made it out to be. So I don't really know, I guess I'll see whenever I actually do take it.
It's mostly scare tactics, imo. Everybody says the ACT is worse than the SAT when I'm pretty sure they're kind of the same thing, just that they're used in different areas of the country. Honestly the most painful part for a lot of people seemed to be the part where they had to write in cursive.

One of my teachers had the best practicing method, which was to time us doing certain parts of old (defunct) tests to make sure we got a hang of what it was like. Having to get through each section in a certain number of minutes was probably more difficult than the content itself.

2130 was one of the highest out of my group of friends in high school, and she was only so upset because her parents are/were VERY strict and competitive about her placing in high-ranked or Ivy League schools.

I felt bad for only getting a 28 on my ACT and not retaking. Cause my school put way to much emphasis on grades and whatnot.

Yeah, considering to get into basic community colleges you can at least get like an 18.. I got a 27 the first time I took it, and was satisfied with it XD

The writing part is the only part that's optional. And, calculators are permitted, but you usually have to bring one. [You borrow it from a math teacher or something]

I have one of my own, so it won't be too much trouble. I'm thinking it would be something like our CPT(I don't know if they offer those over there), whereas on the mathematics portion of the CPT, calculators aren't allowed. Though I heard it's pretty simple math to do and most of it is fractions.
If I recall correctly, most of it's like algebra 1 and 2. ):
I barely recall though XD

It's not that I don't remember the past. it's that it's FREAKING BORING. I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENED 100 YEARS AGO / 2000 YEARS AGO. And there's a freaking LOT of things to learn. Annoying crap.

I actually liked history, especially ancient Rome and Egypt. Those works of architecture at that day and age are just breathtaking.
