Guess which was the main topic during said Cup in the Spanish forum I frequent.
But you heard Blatter, FIFA's top executive: "We can't go there and ban one of their traditions".

I wish they had.

Well, of course. You're more soccer-centric there in Spain than we are in the US. And you went deep into the tournament. ;)

I think I'm the only person out there who doesn't even notice the sound of the vuvuzelas most of the time. Either I'm very focused, or I need to get my hearing checked.

I think you need to get your hearing checked. :\

I'm nearly deaf, and yet I can still notice the vuvuzelas every time I tune in to the World Cup, buzzing away like a hive of angry bees...

Lumas are the best!

Do you agree? I hope that science can make Lumas one day I want one or three.

Hm, that was pretty interesting right there ^^

Vuvuzelas should be banned tyvm. Aren't they considered health hazards since they can apparently make people permanently deaf?

Congratulations, Mikey, and Kura.
England just made some love..
Goal~

Cheers matey. I knew my decision to play Defoe up front with Rooney would pay off. Not that I can take all the credit, Kura wanted Milner playing out wide.

England will go far under our leadership.

That's probably only if you hear them right in your ear for an extended period of time. So basically anyone who was at the World Cup games is gonna come home deaf, lmao. :(

But seriously, anything of that volume (both decibel-wise and... amount-wise) will deafen someone in long exposure. u_u

The worst part is that vuvuzelas are apparently the most popular in South Africa.
Who's genius idea was it to hold the world cup in South Africa?

*siiigh*

Hopefully they won't catch on and become a theme at the World Cups. :( Can you imagine how annoying it'd be if this trend continued next time when it's held in Brazil? Ugggh. XD;

idk where, but I had heard it was in England. XD
Brazil would do, pretty nicely.
Only fair that 5 times world champions Brazil, get to play at home.

There won't be any vuvuzelas anywhere. The favelas will certainly be awash in full-automatic rifle fire, though.

OH MY GOD. Youtube added a "vuvuzuela" button in all the videos (the ball one) so you can hear them in the background when watching one XD

I'm laughing so loud.

Oh my...
This is hilarious beyond words.
And the sound is more annoying than the one you hear on TV.
Realism. Thumbs up to that.
