I'm kinda scared to get contacts, a girl in my class had them stuck behind her eye for 6 hours and wouldn't stop crying D:

And I'd have to disagree with you. Contacts are only a pain to get in at the beginning. After awhile you get used to them and you can get them in lickity split. I've never really been a huge fan of glasses considering a.) they always got dirty which bugged the crap out of me, b.) mine were crooked so it was impossible for me to see out of them, and c.) they didn't look good on me haha ;D

Some of us had natural reflexes that made it insanely difficult to even get them in. It was far easier to just keep the glasses.plus, I think I have a big nose, so I like that the glasses draw the eyes away from that

That's kinda painful. I had something similar happen, but it was only behind my eye for 3 hours before it came back to the front. D;

Well if you fall asleep with them on, they can get stuck to your eyes. But trust me, what the girl had was like a one in a million chance of happening, you shouldn't let that bother you :D

Omg reading this made my stomach flip. >_< That's so gross.

I'm paranoid of needing glasses one day since they sound really annoying but I absolutely could never use contacts (I can't even talk about them without getting squicked out) and laser eye surgery is out of the question so I'd be stuck with the glasses forever.

I guess, I remember how insanely difficult it was for me to put them in at the beginning. I always got frustrated and didn't want to wear them. Maybe it just has to become a routine thing, and then it becomes easier? Thats at least what I believe.

So....your like part vampire? O.o
People called me that and a werewolf, especially when I was smiling (I hardly ever smile o.o)

Still I'm scared o.o

You could always get super sexy office glasses or something :D

Its not like glasses are a bad thing. They look good on some people and it doesn't work with others. I don't like glasses and Don does. Everybody's different :D

They're not that bad though :O
You get used to them after a while.

That's what the doctors kept saying. But my eye-protection reflexes were so strong that I had to have someone else help me by putting them in for me, while having someone else hold my head steady against a wall. And it didn't get any better the more I put them in. Dx

Oh my god, having someone else put them in for you? Now that is horrible! D: I tried to have my mom do that for me once and my eye just kept twitching/reacting whenever she got close Dx

After trying contacts, I resolved that I would get laser eye surgery as soon as I could afford it.
Does anyone here even know how much that costs? Like I know its a lot, but like a specific number.

I was fine with the idea of laser eye surgery until just the other week. :D My family was watching a comedian on TV and he started talking about when he had it done. Said he couldn't feel anything but could smell his eye burning or something like that. Since they essentially fix your eye by burning miniscule layers of it to correct the natural lens... or something like that. Squicked me out even more than contact lenses. ;_;

My whole head was flinching whenever anyone tried to put the contacts in, even myself. Dx

I think that costs in the ballpark of $5000, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't have to worry about smelling my eye burning. I have a horribly inconsistent sense of smell to begin with! XD;

Doesn't it cost a lot of money though?

Glasses or contacts? I'm using glasses right now because contacts make me squeamish. :(
