I don't follow the football myself.

Do many Americans watch the Premiership though?
Well...I know my family does. If Americans are truly fans of the sport-which most really aren't until the World Cup comes along-then they would watch it. The problem is though is that most games are on a HD channel which you have to buy, and only a few games are displayed on ESPN. Futbol is growing in America, but very slowly it seems.

Also staying on the subject of England - I'm currently there - has England always been in Afganistan with the United States? When we were walking around London I noticed numerous petitions from the citizens to bring the troops home. I always thought that the Afganistan conflict only incorporated the United States.
It can't be called the International Security Assistance Force if the United States is the only member. The United Kingdom was among the first to accompany the United States into Afghanistan, is still the second-largest overall contributor to the current Afghanistan conflict, and plans to have all of its soldiers withdrawn before 2015. If you paid less attention to sports and more attention to current events, you would have known that.

That is true. Although the Iraq War is much more controversial no? Doesn't the Coalition have the Iraq inquiry into the actions of the Labour Government?

Then again even under the Obama administration will have pulled out of Iraq officially by 2011, and gearing up on Afganistan.

Did we not ask George W. Bush what the war was for, and he changed the topic of something...? lol Afghanistan is the real war, we are trying to find terrorists, I guess.

Well officially it's to try and get a "stable government" that doesn't harbor terrorists like Iraq or something. But then again we are pulling out of Iraq when the Iraqi Government can't even be formed. 8(

And the economic implications of gearing down any war is really on everyone's head. D:

No need to assault his intelligence he simply asked a question.

While England has been the other major power to fight with the US, their involvement, along with most other nations, has decreased since Blair left office, and i dont blame them. Britain has roughly 10,000 soldiers in Iraq as of this year.

That is if the terrorists are even still in Afghanistan, the common conception now, is that he's dead, or that Bin laden escaped to Pakistan through the mountains.
